WOW...your collection is amazing. I have to say your statue of the boy embracing the girl is creepy in such a spectacular way and it looked perfect placed next to the book like that. Your aesthetics are really wonderful and the music was a great addition as well.
My mom was the one who got me into these... she made me watch the 80's movie with her and then handed me her stack and I've been in love ever since! Most of my collection is the small pocket books, I'm just in the hunt now for FitA and PotW as first editions. ^_^ Thought I might unhull all the works after DeBeers since I don't like them as much and can get them from my library. I love the VCA reviews and can't wait to watch more of them!

Hi Reginia my name s Maria Walsh im from lreland and i read the flowers in the attic series but not the ones of their grandparents yet and casteel family in school when i was a teen but i got myself a kindle from amazon and im reading Ruby by v.c andrews and im on chapter 10 and on page 126 0f 170 its very good and going to read them all 😁😁😁 v c andrews is my fave author i dont know there s something about her in which she wrote the books prob is the mystery cos i love mysteries even when i was a little love mysteries 😁😁😁😁😁
Wow, you have way more than I have (love the music you used). Some of my copies are second-hand, some I purchased new (I used to work in a department store and they were often in bargain bins). While I prefer the original works of V.C. Andrews for the most part, some of the ghost-written books are good. And I love the cover/stepback art!
The first VC andrews book I ever read was from the Logan series. I remember my dad hiding these books from me, I had to sneak around with them when I was a kid to read them in peace. They were such cool stories and they have a way of sucking you in. I love her books and I’d love to read more!

I think the creepiest thing about VC Andrews collection is that there are over 100 books but she only wrote 7 of them. The rest have all been written by a man who never met Virginia Andrews before her death but was able to mimic her style and then just continue it for 40 years. Like it’s one thing for Andrews to write a pulpy patriarchal abusive incestuous young adult “romance” series - but then it just starts feeling like an extra layer of weird when the author dies and now a man puts her on like a skin suit and then HE writes from the perspective of a sexually abused15 year old pubescent girl over and over for decades. Like, he’s still doing it. He’s over 80 years old. I’m not knocking your collection at all! I read a bunch of these as a youngin and would have read more if I didn’t age out. I just think Andrew Neiderman’s part in the story of VC Andrews is a VC Andrews level disturbing twist.
Ha! I get what you're saying. Andrew Neiderman addresses some of that in his recent biography of V.C. Andrews. I think he does a good job and he's had the full support of V.C. Andrews' family. If some of the later books brings readers back to the original material, that's a good thing. They don't compete with the original though. Heaven is my favorite. :)

i only have 5 of the VC Andrews books--Flowers in the Attic, the 3 the follow, and the prequel--Garden of Shadows.
