Sekiro - Demon of Hatred - NG+7, Kuro's charm, Bell demon

Took around 3 hours. Not sure if Orphan of Kos is harder than this, I only played Bloodborne on NG. Otherwise I believe this is the hardest soulsborne boss.
Many attacks can one-shot you and because of the charm the umbrella doesn't block all the damage from attacks which forces you not to make too many mistakes during the fight. Even if you do make few mistakes you might get one-shot both times and you'll lose. Additionally the fight is extremely long due to the massive health pool of the boss so you pretty much have to get consistent at every part of the fight.

you can use the malcontent finger to stun him for a period of time, which can come in handy during the third phase to stop him from doing the wall of fire

Yeah, I used the umbrella and only had 7 spirit emblems at the end so I refrained from using the finger but in hindsight it would have probably been better to avoid the jumping attack normally and spam the finger in the last phase. That way you can also avoid the damage you take from blocking with the umbrella.
