Time is not the problem, it is fixating on a specific date that is. Drop rates do change or are at least variable. So you got to adjust your plan, often in a major way, when you know that you are not getting what you expect.
Also, there is diminishing returns in the game, using extra energy or crystals has less impact than the previous usage. Spending more energy (crystals) doesn't always recover the resources spent if you are fixated for a specific time. Spending ~7,000 in crystals to go from a 5 to 6 star Profundity (1 battle is free) is not going to be recovered by 30 days of 400 daily crystals rewards from being number 1 in fleet shard. It's about 3 to 4 refreshes over 5 months to recover what is spent but that is better than waiting 8 months of free blueprints.
Baby Cal, Saw and Tarfful are on different nodes. When Saw is done (depends on drop rate and refreshes) then Baby Cal and Tarfful could also be done depending on your energy budget.

Hi Cap, great video! I concur with everything said because at times I am guilty of setting hyper-unrealistic and arbitrary expectations at the expense of my enjoyability or contentedness.
In fact my following question may vindicate your entire video. I've been farming Profoundtitties but I still need 2 R5's (Mothma/ Bistan), 2 relics on Andor (R6), R9 Raddy and 6/7* on Rebel Y-wing. However, I'm going to be unlocking SWOLO during this upcoming PG. Which would you prioritise? Going with Ben takes away kyros and signal data. I'm asking this because I'm excited to get him even though he still doesn't make Rey SK-proof but I think Profundity might be more valuable since I only have a 5* exec and attaining top 5+ in fleets is VERY laborious at times... Thanks!!!!

I’d probably get Ben to at least R3, then continue the profundity. If you have executor already, you’ll be fine to take a small detour.
