Honestly that was a great game last night👍🏽 One of the best HS football games I've ever seen so far💯 I have 2 friends I use to play with last year that transferred to these 2 great schools. If you guys don't know them it's #57 from SJB Cole Sain and #35 Samuela Tuihalamaka from MD. They are doing great things over there and they will continue to compete like this in the next level and in the pros🏈💯 2class act programs and have nothing but respect for what these 2 teams have done so far. Shout out to Bosco with those Great looking Black alternate uniforms and also keeps your heads up because the future is looking bright for you guys. And shout out to MD keep grinding and keep that train rolling

People need to understand, this Bosco team with DJ (6'5, 250 pound kid playing QB) is by FAR a much better team then with Re-al. Bosco was losing to St.Johns from D.C, a nationally ranked power the whole game with Re-al throwing 3 horrible picks, and DJ comes in the last two drives and easily and wins them the whole game. Mater Dei still handily beat Bosco, but don't be fooled. Mater Dei had to play a much tougher Bosco team.
I completely agree with what you said, but they should put Real in, Dj a great pocket passer, and a good runner, but with real they could done read plays, and tempo, I think if both quarterbacks were Playing they could have won
mike altenor yea they were limited to passing and trying to run. DJ too slow, Re-al completing passes and opening up the run with the read is what makes Boscos offense more explosive and dynamic they won’t be Mater Dei in playoffs if he doesn’t play. He was the factor last year
mike altenor Exactly, they need both to play but as everyone can see R. Mitchell cannot throw at all! He is amazing behind a great offensive line like we had last year but when teams that can match up with our line that's where it goes all down hill from there. The kid is just not a qb and with 7ints and only 6tds in 5games, Bosco had no choice but to go with the young future star DJ. He not only showed that he can keep the ball and run for first downs, he does what every college recruit is drooling over and that's his ability to take command in the pocket and deliver the ball with that amazing arm.
Mr RightNow Florida most definitely a High School football powerhouse fam, no doubt about it! Don't take it too personal on homer's of each state rooting for they state my boy. But don't get it twisted either. Cali most definitely got ballers too and ranked football squads.
Billy Blanks I aint never slept on Cali ball but Im saying quality over quantity . Cali just got more people to chose from.. example; Cali has 50 players but only 10 might be elite . Florida has only 25 players but 18 of those are elite.. you get what Im saying? check the most NFL players state by state . DJ is the truth. Kid has an insane amount of talent and a bright future in college and beyond. Should definitely be the starting QB from here on out at bosco.
From a Bosco player: Re-al's dad took him off the team, apparently his parents were pissed Re-al, a senior who is commited to play a Iowa State was splitting time with a sophomore so he took him off the team and used the injury as a cover up.
Justinian I - Damn that's tough. The pops should understand that in order for the teams success that they had to get DJ out on the field too. Taking turns and sharing time on the field with DJ is the best decision for both the team and Re-Al.

No dynamic read with Re-al is why Bosco lost offense just isn’t the same. They don’t have the WR talent or explosive run game to depend on the passing or off tackles. Re-al might not be the best passer but the fact that his legs are scary is what opens up the scores for bosco
That is true. He's the only reason SJB beat MD in the title game last year. Had a ridiculous amount of rushing yards. DJ will get better as the year goes on, but so will MD. If they meet again with DJ at the helm, expect a similar outcome. In fact, expect worse as MD fumbled away a likely TD deep in SJB territory. Should have been 38-21 or 42-21.

All this talk about cali vs Texas vs Florida needs to stop. The only real way to squash the chatter is to have the top teams play each other from those states anything else is just fan girl talk. We have seen teams look dominate from tx and cali so all the jaw boning needs to stop. Both seem to be real good teams but Im sorry Im not buying the west coast hype over Georgia and Florida just the southeast part of the country period. I would have really loved to see either one of these teams run up on Grayson or Booker T Washington and Miami Central. These boys dont even hit hard. Just my observation. 1) Mater Dei's defense hits hella hard. They are physical as hell and would give ANY offense a hard time. Not every game has that crushing decleat hit so you can't judge based off just one game.
2) What are you talking about "where do most of the college athletes come from..."?? Just go on 247 football recruiting and look at how many Cali kids there are. Just last year Bama got the #1 recruit Najee Harris from CA and he was balling on Georgia in the natty. Plus IMG recruits a lot of our best players like Bookie Radley-Hiles and TJ Pledger so they end up making Florida recruiting look better. Also, Cali supplies the entire PAC-12 conference with talent. Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Nevada need to start producing more because there isn't enough talent in those states to strengthen the conference.
I'll admit that the Southeast overall is better than the west coast because no lie football is in yalls blood. Love watching some of those teams like Grayson, Hoover, Miami Central etc. But California's best teams would go toe to toe with ANY team from the South and that's a fact bro. I'd love to see more matchups with Cali teams vs teams from the South.
