Awesome video, what tool paths should i use for this? I have the design created, but when i do a contour tool path, the simulation shows it removing everything but the name in the middle

The name in the middle should be part of the inside circle so you’ll want to make sure that what have selected.
I cut these in 2 tool paths the first being the inside circle just in case the tabs don’t hold on the outside circle.
      Hope this helps!

Hey awesome video! Would you mind sharing the feeds and speeds? I broke my 1/8" bit and wasn't being very aggressive. Curious what bit you used and your speeds and numbers on everything. Thanks so much

I just use the stock settings for each bit I use. I know it’s conservative but I’ve got time.

Hi there, new sub here. Thank you for posting this video. I was concerned the program would be hard to use. Are you still happy with your shapeoko? I am thinking about buying 1.

The program isn’t as difficult as it seems once you play with it a little bit. I would recommend downloading it and getting comfortable with it before the machine comes in. I had carbide create about 2 months before I even ordered the Shapeoko. I definitely think the Shapeoko is worth the investment. I have a new carbide create tutorial scheduled to go live on Monday.

Kelly Mountain Woodworks I definitely wished I would have spent more time learning the program before buying the Shapeoko, but on the bright side I’ve discovered a great community of support and learning daily.

@@dagragg I'm having a problem getting this created. I have tried at least 6 times watching the video. When finished I don't see the bottom of the G once in tool path. I setup Contour and an 1/8 endmill bit. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
