Thanks for the video. I managed to change the settings on my Yosepower set up as it has the same display. What was important for me was changing the 5 power assist levels to 9 and then evening out the wattage settings to each of the 9 settings. This made a huge difference to the way my trike performs as the pedal assist and thumb throttle was very erratic at slow speed which was a bit daunting on bends and in shopping areas as I use the trike as a mobility aid. The acceleration has certainly smoothed out to the point that I hardly notice it kicking in. Not all the adjustments you explain are in the Yosepower instructions which is a bit disappointing.
Great video 👍. I have set mine to 9 as it’s on a trike so need very smooth PAS. I’m sure that before I made the alterations that the thumb throttle was limited to 4mph but now it seems limited to about 13mph. Would know how to set the maximum back to 4mph as I require this for my trike to meet UK disability requirements when ridden in pedestrian areas. Thanks, Bob.
Hi As I was attempting to change the speed from 20mph to go faster, the speed counter went past 99 and reset at zero. Now it only goes from 0-9, where as before it went from 0-99. Is it possible to reset it back to 0-99? Thx
I want the info on the other settings is there a pdf somewhere. I want to know and have electrical experience. I find the way the bike continues to accelerate after letting of the throttle uncomforatable. Do you know the model of this display so one can dive into the other qspects deeper.
Andy check out this site. It explains how to set up speed and voltage and how many speeds to set up. I recommend 5 speeds. But keep the bike at your business and I will bring battery charger and set up the correct setting. Don't worry the error flash you see is nothing to worry about. I will dial it in if you can't figure out. Don't stress it's all good. I promise to come by tomorrow and make it run perfectly....Thanks again the phone works great....see you tomorrow.....
Anyone know the codes to make the thumb throttle full power all the time. I want to set PAS 2 to cruse control 12mph and thumb throttle petal to the metal. Thanks
Thank you for the explanation. Is there a function for the factory reset? Found it. Hold the middle and up button a few seconds then def to yes and wait.
If you have a 250w UK road legal kit its speed is limited to 25kph so removing any limiters would mean you’d need tax, insurance, mot and a licence. In the UK anyway. To add to that if it needs the aforementioned and you hold a car or motorcycle license any endorsements can be applied to those licenses. ☹️
At last - an ebike with pedal assist level 0 / ZERO ! Can you somehow deactivate the unwanted, intrusive pedal-assist and ONLY use the throttle on all ebikes? And/or can the PAS wires be physically disconnected? If not I ain't buying one. I - the rider-owner - want to decide when I need power - not have "pensioners' pedelec" pedal-assist kicking in all the time. It also increases range if ebike-riders can activate power ONLY when we need it or want it using only the throttle with no interfering PAS / pedal assist!! Paul G
@@jcsengines446 But your ebike display shows a PAS level '0' option anyway so do all/most folding US/EU folding ebikes offer a PAS '0' level - even the "fascist" EU versions?

Great video but why doesn't the settings save?
How do I reset mines to stock setting???
What do the other pas settings do as far as speed. It still won’t go faster than 20mph right?
My display panel won't come on what to do

Hey. Do you know how to remove the speed restriction on a colorway BK29
Unfortunately not, sorry.
@jcsengines446 OK thanks anyway

How do I keep my display light on
Press and hold the top button until it comes on, you have to do this every time you turn the bike off and on. There’s not a permanent on setting.

I have actually disconnected the PAS system on the bike, I just haven't had time to do a video.
