Charles was dying and the X-Men convinced Magneto not to start a revolution he was on the edge of starting to go and help (This is partly why that glasses lady went straight to the mansion with the helicopters when they learned where Magneto was). They both (Mag and the X-Men) contacted the Shi'ar empire due to their history (X saved Lilandra, I believe, and they stopped her brother from destroying everything. When they looked out the window and there's a weird hole or whatever, that was the results of the brother and some crystal). Lilandra took X away because they're unbelieveably advanced. I think - can't remember - they knew it was a one-way trip due to Shi'ar rules or they thought him surviving the trip was a long shot, idk The Shi'ar is very powerful, above the Kree. Prof X's vision is just... something he picked up. He happened to talk/think about Earth and Genosha and I guess he connected to things, then you saw the globe spin and "explode" with Gambit's power and then.... (but maybe it'll be explained later) Hey Storm, Forge is dying. *flies around showing off new clothes* Mr. Sinister is old, he was at Darwin's funeral. A lot of his work lead to things like the Super Soldier serum. The High Evolutionary (Guardians 3 villain) was a student of his. IDK what the MCU will use when it comes to that backlore, though.
Those darn Kree are such intergalactic instigators in the Marvel universe and have had a long standing war with The Skrulls for centuries, not caring what species/planets were stuck in the middle of their conflict. It was nice seeing this accurate version of Ronan the Accuser, I have nothing against Lee Pace as an actor but really couldn't get on board with his version in the MCU. The Shi'ar are responsible for a lot of the X-Men's galactic spanning adventures, and Lilandra was even in the Marvel Ultimate alliance game as a storyline character. When Dark Phoenix was out of control, they were willing to burn our entire planetary system rather than risk loosing her on the entire galaxy. Sinister is the bad penny that always comes up when you least expect him, this show is going full throttle with just a few more left for the season. :(
It’s amazing how much is going on in one animated series. It’s fun for me because I’m learning about characters I’ve never heard of before. Like Mr Sinister. I don’t know why but he reminds me a little of Destro from GI Joe ha. But he’s terrifying
