In my opinion, this is one of three episodes that could all be considered the worst episode of Community for different enough reasons that it's hard to say which is the singular worst one. Jeff and Abed's friendship was a real highlight of the first season to me, where Abed communicates through tv and movie references, because autism, and Jeff actually understands what he's talking about, because Jeff is really concerned about how he is perceived, and doesn't want to be in a situation where he doesn't understand a pop-culture thing, so he has actually done the research. Meanwhile the fake persona that Jeff puts on with other people doesn't work on Abed, who is gifted at seeing people as they truly are. They talk about how they were both kind-of raised by TV, and even just remembering that sequence where they get drunk together to send Britta that voice message kinda hurts when you're watching this season and hearing "I will kill you here in these frisbees," or "you try to get him to do something helpful without abusing him." The Jeff and Abed of earlier seasons just so clearly liked and understood eachother so much, and now it comes off like their friendship stops at being in the same group. That's not who the characters once were, and it's a real downgrade. And all that's without even getting into the actual "plot" that this episode barely has. This and the previous episode both feel like they were made more to fill time than because someone had a really good idea for an episode. Luckily, the rest of the episodes after this point are all fantastic.

Glancing through the comments, I don't think any of them quite got it right. The thing is, the showrunners and writers didn't think people would be as interested in Agatha and Death's relationship as they were. There was a portion of "Maiden Mother Crone" that was cut from the final draft dealing with the two of them meeting and how they lived together in a cabin in the woods (which is why Agatha's Trial of Spirit takes place in a witchy cabin). It's heavily implied that Death, via magick, is Nicholas Scratch's other parent, which is why Agatha is on the run when the episode begins -- the child was never meant to come to full term. I think that we're given just enough throughout the series to know that Agatha was not, in fact, "born evil" as her mother said -- there is a reason Rio is so angry at Evanora's ghost and her suggestion that the coven abandon Agatha to her. I think that Agatha was a product of her time, a suppressed and repressed woman who got angry and turned to the dark side, so to speak, for power. When her entire coven, led by her own mother, chained her and tried to murder her, she used her succubus powers to defend herself and then vowed that she would never trust another witch again and make herself so powerful that she could never be hurt like that again. Does this justify literally anything that she does? Absolutely not, she's a cold-blooded murderer with a motive based on irrational emotions. It's what makes her such a loveably hateable villain. Agatha blames Death for coming for Nicholas in the first place, even though, as "Rio" states, it was literally her cosmic job, and felt like giving Nicholas 'time' but that time being so unbelievably short was a cruel trick, even though every single time a witch sees Nicky they comment on how sickly and frail he looks. The kid was living on borrowed time his entire life, to be honest. So when Death says she gave Agatha special treatment, she truly did; she literally went against the sacred balance and brought a life into the universe that wasn't meant to be there just because the woman she loved asked for it, and in return it made Agatha hate her. Agatha I think goes on the warpath determined to become so powerful Death itself can't get to her. I wish we knew how, exactly, she got the Darkhold, but "Rio" herself tells us why she got it -- 'you hid behind all that dark magick'. Agatha was using the Darkhold's demonic power to hide from Death (and from the Salem Seven, among others who wanted revenge on her for her many crimes). She went to the Hex seeking what could be the source of ultimate power for her to obtain, got clapped by Wanda, and woke up powerless and exposed to Death for the first time in decades, if not a century, and the rest is history. When Agatha screams "Because I can't face him!" at the end, coupled with her line the previous episode in saying "because the truth is too awful", we know that she does still have some pangs of a conscience: she literally left the funeral she held for her baby boy and dishonored his memory by using the nursery rhyme that was meant to be a familial love song between the two of them to lure innocent, well-meaning witches to their grisly deaths, and especially after hearing his voice screaming "Momma, stop!" during her Trial, the idea of being reunited with her son with gallons of blood on her hands that she'd used his memory to obtain was more than she could stomach. Another little kind of heartbreaking note? When Nicky is asking her to "use her Purple", which Agatha later refers to her power as when she's bargaining with Death in the first episode, she explains that she cannot heal him, she cannot protect him, and she cannot divine when Death will come for him...all things that an actual coven of witches could do. It's a cruel irony that she was so dedicated to killing witches, when she might have actually extended Nicholas's life if she'd had a coven. She is able to survive the Witches' Road and also help to protect Billy from Death the way that she couldn't with Nicky because she is able to join forces with Jen to heal him, Alice to protect him, and Lilia to divine his future, which also makes her killing Alice all the more awful in the end.

I hope every episode of season 6 is about The Guide. I don't understand the strong dislike of her, and frankly it is a bit obsessive of you considering how much you mention it.

Is the final season for this universe the ext one probably will be after the Secret war and will have a diferent style because this one is reallyyy expensive they didnt expend to be this popular

I'm confident the series will return in the future, especially after a wave of new MCU projects leading up to Secret Wars. This will give writers greater flexibility, with a wider range of stories and characters to draw from. They could even rework the series with a new art style and direction to set it apart from the original. Additionally, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is set to release the following month in January, essentially serving as a large What If...? storyline. While not set in the main MCU, it takes place in a universe heavily inspired by it. For instance, Spider-Man’s character is modeled closely on Tom Holland’s portrayal, including his suit design. However, this universe features Norman Osborn and various Spider-Man villains, alongside some re-imagined versions of existing MCU characters like Iron Man and Doctor Strange that differ from what we know from the MCU.

This is the reason it's the final season because the directors don't have no more ideas and do not want to deliver garbage trash writing just for money. That is the reason this doesn't go on forever,

ngl didn't like this reaction because of how you were reacting to Jake's trauma when it comes to his family and his childhood. I feel like saying "grow up" to something like this isn't the best thing, especially since his it doesn't affect his ability to be a cop. Like it was said before he might be a bit childish at some points but he is an amazing cop. Also trauma doesn't just disappear when you get older, it's not something you grow out of like that

"The Sting" may be artful, but it's boring and self-congratulatory. Newman and/or Redford did a lot of those. Fun premise for a TV episode though.

If anything, The Mandalorian is based on Rick and Morty because this episode takes place 2-3 years BEFORE The Mandalorian ever came out.
