Necessity is the very mother of inventions, though greatily oppressed they found a beautiful way to comfort their hearts and ours too, a beautiful classic

    * Promised on this channel 8 years ago, here it goes. Enjoy and Best of 2020s
** The story is that this song translates the changes in entities names which happened to the country CONGO DRC on 27th October 1971 and how it was decided (The Ruling Party MPR Congress of 1971), when the country became ZAIRE under Mobutu launching his Africanism and pan-africanism philosophy of "Authenticité", some kind of getting in line with the existing Negritude movement.
*** On the same vein: all Christian names were dropped. For instance, "Joseph Desire Mobutu" was de-baptised and became "Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Gbendu Wazabanga"

great video! I'm from Mexico and even if I can't understand most of what is being said I still love this music its so great and it reminds me of my country in that both Mexico and the countries in Africa share so many things in common like even though both sadly have so many problems with things like violence and poverty we still have an amazingly rich and great culture and people who love their countries more than anything!

Mobutu was a great man! He created Zaire, held the country together and was the best-dressed world leader. Love that leopard-skin hat! Love that abacoste! Love the stick! Love that wonderful smile!
