Teacher here and I couldn’t agree more about your rant. That’s why I will leave school eventually to pursue something more meaningful, work on my own, create more of my own content to help others. Thanks for this!
This video is amazing. I'm from Brazil, and the idea about the school system is totally true. We are so used to being scared to fail that we prefer to do nothing instead of failing and learning. The reality is the opposite: COMMUNICATION OVER PERFORMANCE. Thanks, Luca, for the encouragement.
I couldn't agree more with your opinion about the education system. The subconscious thought that everything should have a grade is what ruins the most our experience with the world
I speak in italian to my cat (her favorite language) and spanish, english and italian to my dog. I need to enhance my conversations🤣.
Japanese is Subject (if at all) - Object - Verb, but many times you can get by just with the verb. People are often intimidated about Japanese, but the advice about simplification is even more applicable to Japanese; you can say quite a lot by using verbs and conjugating them correctly.
As always thanks a ton Luca for these amazing tips. I'm gonna talk to myself in Swedish and follow Anna's path. Hopefull that'll lead me where she went.
Very good tips. I've been talking to myself in English and it's improving my skills in a rate I would never imagine before. Im finally getting from the level I've been at for such a long time to the level I not only want to be, but also need to be for professional reasons. Communication over performance is something I've been applying in these practiced without knowing it had a name and it's great because, as I notice if I let myself make as much mistakes I need, I will have the opportunity to hear my own voice speaking that way and feel that, for some reason, it doesn't sound good and even if I don't look up in a dictionary or a grammar book what is the correct or more appropriate way to say whatever I was trying to say, it will prompt my brain to notice more easily the correct pattern when I hear it in the next time, even if I am not consciously looking for it or even remember having gone through the situation where I needed it. It seems that the more mistakes we make, the more language we will be absorbing in the following days. But none of these happens if we don't use the right fuel to this practice, which is a lot of reading and a lot of listening. Well, at least that's what I've been noticing after doing this every day, I don't know how much of these is applicable to other people, but I think everyone should try.
@@Giuseppe-c5y I don't know exactly because I haven't invested this time continuously, I stayed in the same level for a long time multiple times, in multiple levels of proficiency, because I wasn't deliberately working to improve, but whenever I put effort to learn I advance a lot and right now I'm in a improving sprint, so to speak. But I'm also learning french, still beginner, but I'll try not to drop the ball this time and see how long it will take for me to achieve the same level I am in English.

Mi técnica para hablar es enfocarme en la comunicación y aprender de mis errores.

Amazing work Fabio! Could you kindly tell me how many hours per day, and how many years, you invested to achieve this fluency in English?😃

I wonder if I can import belle figura into the English language.
