In this journey, I visited The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
The tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island is known for glitzy hotels, posh apartment towers and upmarket global restaurants.

The Atlantis Hotel (better say Atlantis complex) which is the only 7 star hotel is located at the front of this island.

You can get there and see spectacular views by Dubai Metro and then switch to Tram and finally getting Monorail which passes along the island.
The board walk in front of Atlantis is great to have a relaxing walking next to sea.

The 4 yellow buildings you see next to Dubai museum at 2:06 were one of the earliest ones on Sh Zayed Rd. Back in 1996 Interchange 2 was considered outskirts of Dubai! Amazing development since. The ruler is truly a visionary, well done Dubai.

Euromonitor International's report issued by the World Travel Market in 2007 in London on halal tourism:
Halal tourism is a sub-category of tourism aimed at Muslim families who adhere to the values of Islam. Hotels in these destinations do not serve alcoholic beverages and have separate swimming pools and spa facilities for men and women. Malaysia, Turkey and many other countries are trying to attract Muslim tourists from all over the world in line with their religious beliefs. However, there are currently no internationally recognized standards for halal tourism.
The halal tourism sector also provides flights where alcohol or pork products are not served, prayer times are announced, and religious programs are broadcast as part of the in-flight entertainment.
A Euromonitor International report issued by the World Travel Market in 2007 in London says that there is a potential for a halal tourism boom in the Middle East. The report mentions a halal startup offering halal food, the call to prayer and a Quran in seat pockets, as well as providing separate accommodations for male and female passengers.
Many international hotels serve halal food that is slaughtered according to the teachings of Islamic law and is free of any substances prohibited by Islam such as pork and alcohol. Some hotels have also hired people from the Islamic world to provide translation services and other assistance that tourists from Muslim countries may need.
An article in The Economist talks about halal business published on May 25, 2013: “It is not just halal products, but other services such as halal holidays, and Crescent Tours, an online travel company based in London, is booking hotels for Muslim clients in Turkey with swimming pools. Separate for men and women, non-alcoholic, halal restaurants, and holiday villas with high walls more private,” said Forbes, which offers Muslim-friendly hotels, advice on halal food options, availability of the Qur’an, and more.
Based on a report from Thomson Reuters, in 2014 Muslims from all over the world spent $142 billion on travel (excluding Hajj and Umrah), by comparison, travelers from China spent $160 billion on travel in the same year, while American travelers spent 143 This puts the Islamic travel sector in third place in global travel spending and represents 11 percent of total global travel spending.
Muslim travel contributed more than $156 billion to global GDP in 2016 and is expected to grow to $220 billion by 2020, according to the 2017 Global Islamic Travel Index by Crescent Rank.
It's not very appealing.
