I am really enjoying this series. I love when you show how you fold the pages and order them for each signature. Including each and every step of the process is super important for those of us who have never made this type of journal. Your eye for design is incredible, and you have impeccable taste. Love hearing about the grands and glad your nails didn’t take over the house:) Hugs from Ky, USA.
This was a fabulous series. You are a great teacher. In the end I could feel your energy in wanting to finish on time. It was so fun. Thank you again Wendy for sharing your knowledge and time. Take care xoxo
Just in the nick of time and not boring, enjoyable to watch. Was surprised to see how flat it lays with so many pages and really not that complicated to do. Love your paper choices - so beautiful. As always, TY for sharing your time and creativity :)
So clever sewing a signature in the tabs. I have never seen this before. Thank you so much for sharing the process of this beautiful journal. Love your style and your process videos are always a joy to watch.
Absolutely beautiful, I love the tab binding with signatures sewn in! Probably one of my favorite types of binding. But it doesn’t look easy, at all! Maybe when I do my wildflower journal, I can attempt this. I will come back to this video before I start to see if I think I can actually do it. 😬Thanks so much, this was a fabulous inspiration! 🤗❤️ Tamara
Hi Wendy!! Love how the signature is sewn into the tabs. First time I've seen this process. I missed the making of the journal cover, going to watch it now. 💜
Wendy, you are so brave, but I would probably do it that way too. I'm not someone who measures if I don't have to. I'm glad to hear William is feeling better. Granddaughters are wonderful, they are too funny with your nails. I love this series! 💕💕
Both of these are so pretty and I like this method of binding for a change and the use of envelopes to make it sturdy and functional. Have a great day Wendy. .
This series is extremely interesting. I have not tried this method. Watching you go through the whole process is wonderful, Thank you for showing us. I can’t wait to give it a try.
This was the 2nd video, and the first time on your channel. This method was intriguingly beautiful. I'll first have to dig out those special pieces of paper and put them aside. I'm in the process of throwing out what I now know to be "rubbish" paper, even though the pics are nice, and only make room for better quality all round. Love the patience you display. Your voice is so soothing. It makes it relaxing to follow. Many thanks 😊 Denmark 🇩🇰
I love this binding method but I am not going to lie and say they are measured perfectly because for sure they aren’t. But all is good and I enjoyed making one. Thanks for sharing 💕🌴
This is awesome Wendy, I'd probably have to measure the distance of the tabs in order to see in the signatures, at least for the first and second time. And thank you for sharing where you get the beautiful digitals you use. I'm still crafting along with you, in my mind at least, if I ever get to make my own from your tutorials I'll be happy to send you pictures by email since I don't do any of the social media things. Just don't hold your breath, or you might faint, LoL. Take care and God bless. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
I really like this technique and can't wait to try it! When poking the holes for the ties, would it be easier to poke from the outside in so as not to miss the tab? I could see it happening to me!😄 Sewing in signatures is the scariest part for me!😯 Thank you so much for sharing this process; I know I will use it many times over! I can't wait for the ephemera/decorating!
Not boring at all Wendy! Very informative and answered a lot of my questions! Thankyou! What’s that saying? More speed, less haste? Or something like that LOL 😊❤️🇦🇺xxx
I love the way you sewed in the signatures to your hinged junk journal! 💕 I wonder, would that sewing method work in a regular JJ, instead of the 3 hole pamphlet style? TFS and thx for your input 😁 Pat
That’s a good idea, I don’t see why it wouldn’t. It would be very sturdy and you wouldn’t have to struggle going through one hole twice you’re just going to end up with more knots on the inside. Or if you do a hidden spine you can put all the knots on the outside, that’s a good idea.
@@LynsAlteredArts Thx for your reply. I was hoping you’d say that! Will give it a try 🤞🤞 I always do have trouble with going through that middle hole twice. 🤣 🙏🏻
I need to find your video on doing the holes and elastic, I've seen it two different ways, and am still not liking my results...so practice makes perfect! Midori style? isn't it?
Thank you for this tutorial; very helpful. I love the collection of digitals that you have used. Could you please tell me what brand of paper you use for printing digitals, and what weight of paper. I have tried both linen, linen cotton blends, cotton, and I'm just not sure which is best. Thanks!
You are way to hard on yourself! All of your videos are wonderful! So glad you cut your nails, certainly wouldn’t want them to take over your house 😅😅😅😅😅, kids❤

A little bit different on sewing the signatures- oh what fun - thanks.

This is such an unusual idea. Love it.
Well done Wendy you made it ! ... I was getting nervous, for you, towards the end🤣
Ahhh I see how you do the signatures. It seems to give the whole thing more body. Nice. Thx
Love this technique Wendy of sewing signatures right into the tabs!
Just wondering why you don't poke the holes from the tab side? Then you don't have to guess where they are. Beautiful journal.
I love this project, very creative!! You are a pleasure to watch 😊 You made me smile when you said “quick like a bunny” I say that all the time, lol
Great series Wendy. Thank you so much for sharing. It’s turning out beautiful.❤
Thanks for showing us how you did this Wendy. I am fascinated with this style. I hope to start one of my own next week. Hugs!
Love this. And, you make playing with fire look so tempting. I want to make this style journal soon! TFS

I would have to definitely have to measure those holes!
Q linda mezcla de técnicas. Me encantó este trabajo. Gracias por compartir tus ideas.

I’m not sure what Wendy uses but I like matte photo paper, either 26 or 32 pound Red River brand or Epson presentation paper.
@@LynsAlteredArts Thank you!
