My father once told me of a friend of his that he had an evo 5 and he drove it once from the dealership and never drove it again and he put it for sale the next day because of how scared of the car he was.. evo 5s are insanely crazy, its not like any other car, i mean shit even my mitsubishi colt ralliart 1.5 turbo (FWD) with 200hp with a weight of about 2300lbs scares the shit out of me, idk mitsubishis are just weirdly insane, even a mitsubishi spacestar wagon can scare the shit out of you

With a monster like the Evo in your stable, I'm surprised you haven't tried your hand at rallying yet, not in the Evo necessarily, but a beater RWD or 4WD. You should check some of the rallying courses in Ireland, if you have the time.

Just curious can you brake boost when doing gnarly spirited driving like he did around the compound?? Or are the brake pads too aggressive or it’s just not a good practice ?????
Love tommy but thank god adam isnt putting te’s on the r32. He has a lot of te37s but at least he changes it up, seeing tommy put OG te’s on everything with a pretty crap offset is getting old lmao gt1s were a great choice
@adamlz - i feel that the differencials never had an ending . I remember you speaking about wanting to not run it in the front.. Im currently on the fence about refitting my AYC or going with a lsd in the rear.. (now open diff all around) cp9a. So i would be curious to hear abit more about that. 🙂
I'm sure you guys are already doing this. I want to mention to be safe as possible ripping around the compound. There are a ton of blind corners and if you guys are letting absolutely everyone know your testing a car you could have a bad scenario. Please be safe.
Nice ! The racefab pan is about as good as it gets before a dry sump on these cars. Downside is that it holds a lot of oil and takes a bit to get up to temperature . Hard to maintain temp in the winter or when raining. These cars have an excellent cooling system. May want to consider a taller final drive like the 4.31 or 4.11. It calms some Wheelspin down and it’s easier to drive fast instead of always shifting.
So stoked, was going to comment that the EVO is almost too much to handle on the compound track. The first time you got into boost I was like is that car really that fast now or am I getting old ? The answer is probably both
