He comes and takes sonics place knocking Sonic off stardust speedway. Everything begins with Starved being confused alongside furnace. Mecha on the other hand is embarrassed. As the battle goes onward Mecha realizes that the doctor only beat sonic through a fluke. Especially with this inferior hardware . He decides to give Robotinik a taste of real power by transforming into his 4 emerald super state. Before ultimately finishing the two nuisances off.

since sonic cd is before sonic 2 and 3, this makes sense that starved does not know who mecha is.

I know everyone says that Mecha Sonic would win so to make things fair and much more interesting. Let’s say that while Mecha Sonic has the Chaos Emeralds, Starved has the all of the time stones and Furnace Sonic has all of the Sol Emeralds (because fire). And let’s say, like how Mecha Sonic can become Super Mecha Sonic, Furnace Sonic is able to become Burning Furnace Sonic. This paired with the fact that Starved can potentially negate any damage done to Burning Furnace Sonic as well as counter any time related abilities from the Chaos Emeralds, who would win in a fight and/or race?

Mecha sonic but OG or mecha sonic but an oven (and yes, furnace is mecha sonic, not metal, looking at his body shape is the dead give away, its sonic 3 and knuckles, not CD) so furnace could stand more of a chance against his megalomaniactic counterpart for much longer than people think (furnace also was able to one shot classic sonic, who isnt a push over)

The only reason furnace beat sonic was because of starved basically distracting him allowing for furnace to crash into sonic using sonics own speed against him.
This version of mecha is mist likely the SMBZ one which would truthfully be over kill in base.
Mecha in S3&K would be overkill cause it alone could fight sonic and tails while also being designed to use the master emerald
