My x5 light is not bright enough for me and I always turn on the fog light.... and I have to do it all the time.....
Is there code to turn it on when the headlight thuns on?

@scott Roh - thank you so much, appreciate it. There is no way to turn on fog lights with headlights on being at Auto. That's one thing I have been looking for over a year. And apparently no option even in bimmercode app.
Great Video !! After some coding today my real time MPG display was all over the place. I was using bimmercode to do simple stuff like mirrors fold when locked etc. If you have ever seen this or know how to fix it please let me know !
@goprosandseadoos - thank you, did you get any errors that didn't go away? I have seen my mpg and trip meter get reset to 0.. let the car sit for about 15 minutes and locked and than try again ..
What all did you code?
Any chance you can help regarding a question with the sport display.. can you change the values to higher with the expert mode? I got a tune and numbers stayed the same.
Good video but you should walk us through how do you how do you get started..... Engine running or do you just use your ignition on when coding ?
@Iglis Vlogs - good questions which I have answered in my intro videos but happy to answer again. Highly recommend to have car on tricky charger or running, don't do it on battery solely, do it one module at a time.
I can't find where to code the doors to unlock when I turn off the ignition. Any help?
@benny - what year abs model idrive do you have? If you have fem or Bdc it should be within that coding on easy where it says unlock with ignition under windows/doors. Set that to active.
@@SheziMotorsport Not sure. It's a 2016 35i. I set it to active but it's not taking the code. I probably have to set something in expert mode but I don't know what
@benny - when you say not taking the code, you mean it throws an error or takes the code but doesn’t change the action? Can you prove some details here or reach out of Instagram via dm
@@SheziMotorsport No I just mean that after I set it to active and code it the car doesn't unlock when the engine is turned off. I tried undoing it and trying again and still nothing. That's why I believe there's an option in expert mode that I must have to do.
@benny - dumb question I have the full version off it and have u unplug the device and fully lock the car and let it sit for bit and than try again in few minutes?
Is there a way to code out the US side markers on a 2017 f16?
@framkie cardoso - yes, launch bimmercode app and go into fem or bdc depending on what's available for your f series. Scroll down until you us side marker and change the settings in there. You don't have to go into expert mode..
i have 2015 bmw x5 ok i dont knw what i did lastime with my bimmercode the problem its i was coding lights but now when i drive my car during day my low beam allway turn on with my angel eyes !! as u can see those car im the day its only running with thw angel eyes but mine running with headlight and angel eyes can u help me to turn off the low beam i only want to angel eyes stay on during the day daytimerunning only
Hi, I tried to change my interior ambient light in my f15 3.0d 2014 watching your video and done it step by step but when I hit expert mode my menu is different than yours, found the ambient light in 3071. And I don't have like you colour options to choose from, I live in the UK 🇬🇧, any help would be much appreciated

@lucian Ciornei - first of all sorry to hear.. what version of idrive do you have? In 3071 what do you see, do you see the groups and such?

I have layer 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 on each group_fabre_ensamble and when I click on one it doesn't show colours to choose from like on yours it shows one option to change value
If I take some print screens would you be able to know how they work?

Can you hook up bimmercode? And this might require esys to make it full screen. I haven't seen settings in bimmercode app yet.

@sal Saleh - you can only enable street speed limit of you can had front camera or equipped with connected drive otherwise you can't. If you have that option check in headunit module you should see that option for hud.

@sal Saleh - log into bimmercode app, connect the dongle, go into headunit --> expert mode --> go into 3001 exbox and search for speed, there should be two, please make those active.
Than check idrive settings for hud and see if you see the check box.

Do know of a way to have the compass coded to always on for the X5? So that it would stay there even when toggling the display? I.E. you could have the compass/digital speedometer or real time mpg displayed at the same time.
@iamlamont - do you mean that when car is turned on in BC in instrument cluster it would display the compass? Good question let me look it up. Do you Jane the extended dash?
Does coding affect your truck or computer in the future ?
@keith lovoya - it depends what you are coding, it could effect but if you follow along any tutorials you will be fine, when the software is updated at the dealer, the ecu's are reset all closing is wiped.

@keith lovoya - I have had that request before as well, haven't had a chance to make video bc been busy.
Ambient lighting change if still allowed with bimmercode it will not effect ur SUV in future.
I just downloaded bimmercode. I'm going to be deactivating the auto up down steering wheel dance it does when you start and turn off the car.

@bimmer - load up the app and connect via dongle, and go I to fem or bdc depending on options available for your car and than expert mode, than Into 30C0 electric steering than look for V_max_ aktiver_einsteig_aktive and v_max_deaktiver_einatwig_aktive and set both to active. Hope this helps.
