- Whale STRUGGLES In MOC 11 & 12 In Honkai Star Rail
Today, we are going to take on MOC 11 and MOC 12 and wow i did not expect this much of a challenge! Look at me struggle and fail with some of the best characters in honkai star rail! I'm super happy for this jump in difficulty when it comes to the new endgame we got in version 1.6 and i cant wait to see what pure fiction is going to look like as well for our endgame loop! Let me know if you cleared it on the first try or if you failed like me a couple times!

Whoever come up with that 20 cycles with 2 additional MoC stages for the new update should be jailed. You're literally being punished for now having the correct limited 5 star and godlike artifacts for this

@@rioorochi666 If you want the difficult version try it without Tingyun, Pela, Ruan Mei, Sparkle, Bronya. Because that's essentially the "secret" to all MoC. It doesn't actually matter which DD you choose, whether they are 4 star or 5 star. You just need to use those characters as supports and they carry you through every single MoC. It is ridiculous.
Luckily I one-tapped MoC 11 and 12, but I was sweating bullets clenching my butt so hard about how many times my characters are close to unaliving. It definitely felt very challenging, enemies hit harder and are a lot tankier, on top of that we only get 10 cycles to 3 star clear it.

1:50 I believe this isn’t a situation where the Argenti bug fix makes a difference since both enemies were still alive after the initial and consecutive hits. So this should be the same damage pre-patch 1.6

Took me about 2 hours to clear MoC 11 and 12 with Blade and Seele. Haven't had this much fun since clearing swarm disaster difficulty V for the first time

Ruan Mei can safely use her Ult during her own turn. The duration will not go down thanks to the buff extension mechanic.

Fu Xuan and Luocha at least at 134 spd. You need to build more tankie your supports, more defense% and HP% stats (even giving them an orb and chestpiece so they don't die that easily). I survived with good stats but those enemies hit hard in moc11-12, I like the feeling of a new content that challenging
Argenti, despite the bonkers damage, still feels too slow to charge even with the recent turbulence. Tingyun+HuoHuo is just too demanding. I feel like he needs some kind of specific support

Thank you for showing a realistic run of MoC. Most just show the final successful attempt, but my runs are like yours , I have to keep refreshing it until the RNG is in my favor.. sometimes enemies tunnel vision and attack one character and kill them off..
I malded for like 2 hours to finish 36 starring 😭
For floor 12, I did Imbibitor, Hanya, Fu Xuan, and Pela while second half was Clara, Luka, SW, and Luocha
if i would've used hanya i think i would have done better
For fun I used Luka with Ruan Mei.... it was crazy good!
For some reason, floor 11 was harder for me than 12. I cleared floor 11 with 21 cycles remaining, and floor 12 with 23 cycles remaining. For floor 12, I had DHIL, bronya, luocha, clara for first half; and jingliu, ruan mei, lynx and pela for second half. I think I did floor 11 first try but two tries for floor 12.
MOC 11-12 defintely will be the challenge for me but I will somehow make it work once I get Ruan Mei's traces sorted to make it easier 😅

@@REHOO I know for 11 I can make it work with Clara/Topaz team (sadly don't have Argenti) and mono quantum with Bronya but 12 I'll probably need her then
One i hate a lot from 11 is the freakin gorilla and the robot commander one. If you dont have the correct weaknesses (or cant break them) it really a hassle. This forgotten hall really telling you get ruan mei or break as many weaknesses as u can
I did it first try one team was Clara (S1E1), Topaz (S1E1), Hanya (E6) and HuoHuo. The othe team was Jingliu, Pela (E6), Bronya (S1) and Luocha. There were close calls but Huo Huo with clara taking most of the beating was enough to sustain first half and Luocha make really easy to survive second half. The elites are insanely tank and fast with really hard hitting attacks. I think having cleance is really nice and make easier to deal with MoC 11 and 12.
This MoC would be a real challenge for me, because i dont have a Broken Dps to one half because i mono quantom one and the other was Dots... But i cant dots the phases anymore, it's like i regret to pick more Foreward Dps 🤣
I feel this can give me a Hype for more preservation caracters 😉

Took two reset total to clear this round of MoC and MoC12 I beat first try but was on the very last turn before demoted to 2 Stars. Medium spender, prolly like 500-ish. Your Bronya and Tingyun are also extremely squishy

I've lost a lot of 50/50s and usually have to go for soft pity. Went full send for Loucha. Wasn't until Argenti where I got lucky getting him and his Lightcone early @@Sandwichy
My tingyun is around 2k def and 147 speed and i still found her squishy so i don't want to know with 1k2 xD

I clutched the second phase of MoC12 so hard. Bronya, fu xuan and pela's hp were 210, 31, and 1. Funny thing it was probably jing liu who did the most dmg to my own team cause her hp was still above half at the end
The difficulty spike was a nice surprise for sure. Still was able to full clear. MoC 12 was the only difficult floor since I only have jingliu and jy as DPSs and the first half has lightning res. Took about 7-8 cycles to clear.

Yep exactly here as well. Took 5 cycle each side to complete MOC 12. Also, didn’t realize the lighting resistance until you mention it 😂 Had to abuse the break weakness with Pela in the first cycle and Welt in the other cycle.
I fought like my life was depending of it but still couldn't clear 12F with 3 stars but the 11F is manageable
I cleared MoC 12 within 12 cycles when Ruan Mei was at Level 40...
Completed my 3 star MoC 12 clear using Seele, Tingyun, Silver Wolf, and Fu Xuan on the first half along with Jingliu, Pela, Ruan Mei, and Bailu on the second half.
The first half required solid Silver Wolf luck since she kept hitting the 25% chance of Lightning Weakness, which used 5 cycles. My Ruan Mei was only pushed to Level 70 with severely underleveled Traces (haven't done Echoes of War to get more damage), and ate up the remaining 5 cycles. Bailu kept the team alive, but the Outrage debuff definitely killed quite a few attempts.
I swear to god 3 star on moc 12 is almost impossible without two 5* sustains or a high invested Lynx (e2). After malding for like 1 hour retrying side 2 using bailu coz i used huohuo on side 1 for kafka, i gave up and decided to wait and level up Lynx first b4 trying again! Side 2 was infinitely easier with huohuo, but then side 1 becomes hard af due to Kafka dominating you and since bailu doesn't have cleanse you either need an e2 lynx, luocha or fu xuan to clear fast enough so you can clear side 2 with enough cycles.
i one-tapped MOC 12 but I can’t, for the life of me, 3-star MOC 11. do you have any team suggestions for someone who doesn’t have Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan, Silver Wolf, and Jingliu? (pretty much the kweens. i only have the kings (‘: )
I was struggling on what team to use to beat MOC 12 and I got a suggestion from my buddy to switch Clara to first half and move bronya to second half. I used lynx, blade, Clara, and pela first half and Jinglui, bailu, tingyun, bronya second half and I first tried it with this team with a turn to spare.
TIP: Use burst before skill for more energy

I did one try with mono quantum with Ruan Mei on first half cuz I wanted to see a team with SW and Ruan but got smacked.
Then switched to Luocha, Ting, Silver Wolf and Argenti then I was able to beat it first try.
I did spend more cycles than I wanted but on second half, Jingliu just did Jingliu things together with Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan and Bronya. They really did up the ante for real with the added floors. But did manage to barely 3 star it with 1 full cycle to spare.
Yea I definitely struggled with the fire and ice weak bosses. 10F and 11F weren't too bad by 9F and 12F 2nd boss were tough af. Gotta build up my Ruan and Yan Qing to deal with them

Not sure if this difficulty buff went to other places besides moc or if they maybe just buffed the actual bosses regardless of what content there in because in swarm simulated uni for the middle 2nd zone end boss i was fighting svarog and up to that point i had been having a pretty easy go of it even up until his phase or 3rd life (this is difficulty 4 btw) but out of nowhere this guy just started cooking on me he would send out that hand thing that traps on of your team and you gotta destroy it to get them out for starters it’s weakness didn’t match well for me but more importantly instead of holding the hand would after a little bit release them but start blinking red and in like 2 moves they will come up and explode and instakill whoever they just released like no chance my IMDan hang got insta with full health and a gepard shield on ! Like that’s crazy even more so he started pumping these hands out he had 3 all out almost immediately after that first one exploded and it was done from there
But i have never seen this strategy used by svarog or that move by the hand it felt kinda bs tbh because of how good I was doing at that point but oh well
I was able to get MOC 11 on my first try (but It was down the wire)
MOC 12 was a pretty decent Challenge. I was able to Clear it first time but it took like 12-13 cycles and my Bronya died.
My best try was with DHIL, Blade, Ruan Mei, and Fu on the first side & I had to pull out the Jingliu onga booga Energy shenanigans with Her Tingyun Bronya and Huohuo and it was the try that helped me 36 star MOC. (Tankier, (the enemies could have more DMG reduction) and with way more ATK then the usual MOC 10 & they are probably Speeder as well)
Cleared both floors in one first tries in 10 cycles each. GG EZ. I was sweating like crazy the whole time. Clara supremacy.
It's kind of hard for me since I only have Blade and monofire DPS (Himeko and Topaz).
I dealt the first node with Blade and dealt the second node (swarm disaster) with Himeko and Topaz.
I cleared it in time, 20 cycles left.
I failed MoC 12 on the first attempt, 2-starred it on the second, and 3-Starred it on the third. I had to really think about what I was doing to beat it though. lol
Jingliu and Ruan Mei are suffering from success in MOC 12 second half
It took me 11 cycles to clear floor 11 and 13 on floor 12. I might try for a better clear later, since I've no Fire or Ice DPS

My teams are not built for the MoC buff this time around as well as my dumbass forgetting there's a new Echo of War boss so my Ruan Mei is underbuilt so it has been quite the challenge. I've also only been using Standard 5* carries lol I'll try challenging MoC 12 once I've built her up next week

yeh, normally i use herta for ice weak enemies however, moc 12 i only can get to the second stage of the swarm boss and then die
I skipped DHIL, Jing Liu and my relics are pretty mid. Cleared right at the end of cycle 10 thanks to good QQ rng. Not being able to cover all elements properly is starting to hurt lol.

DIL still carries tf out of my acc on any imaginary weak half! Definitely do not regret. However i have e2 from very very lucky and early pulls so i might be a bit biased
i think using 3 chars that only normal attack massively hurt your break speed

I have no issues with survival, but I've not enough dps. No dhil or JL, I managed to get 2* on floor 11 and 1 on floor 12. Replayed multiple time with different comps and result's the same. In the end I said F it 60 jades is not worth it.
It took me three attempts to clear MOC 12 I kept missing three stars by ONE turn. I ended up bringing my level 60 Xueyi just to maximize my number of breaks on the swarm 😂
do this cycle with 2 account, my first account that barely has any DPS character only Welt QQ and Welt (E3S1) struggle so hard on the MoC12 1st half, I just trying to figure out the team to use, in the end I brute force it with Seele SW, it took me 7 cycle just to finish it, the 2nd half though I manage to clear it with 3 cycle with QQ.
meanwhile my second account just kinda breeze through it with DHIL Yukong on 1st half and Jingliu Bronya on 2nd
I'm not gonna say much because I'm still stuck on moc 10-(cuz I don't have a good quantum dps), but I feel like they should give 18 cycles if not 16
I think you need more defense on your Fu Xuan, 1.3k seems low to me. Not that I have anything to back that up, I could just be wrong lol

I full cleared 12 on my first try and then spent like 3 hours trying to get the last star on 11 with my yanqing hyper team since he's my only DPS that works on both waves of 11-2 LOL wouldve been WAY easier if I had gepard or fu xuan for him
I was able to clear MoC 11 & 12 first try and I did appreciate the extra challenge. 1st side- Jingyuan E1 S1,Tingyun E 6, Asta E6,Fu Xuan 2nd side Jingliu S1, Bronya E1, Luocha, Ruan Mei E1 S1.

Imo MoC 11 and 12 was challenging but doable for me with Seele and IL (E0 without sig LC)
Meanwhile MoC 10 just pure shit for me
I could auto through everything but the second half of moc 12. I had to manual play but I won first try with dhil having 1 percent hp left lmao(saw my team being too stupid on auto so took over) second half was no joke for me 😅. I think I ended on turn 24 but it for sure was the most intense fight I have had in ages. If I had jingliu life would have for sure been easier on floor 12 but I lost that 50:50 so I had to go blade hyper carry side one and dhil hyper side two.
My main advice seeing your builds is get your luocha and fu xuan over 134 speed to get you more skill points. Also take your characters to 80 😂 especially someone squishy like tingyun.

@@REHOO yeah, getting everyone + lightcone sounds great on paper for being able to easily do everything…..buuuuuut then you also end up in a situation where you can’t Invest in everyone like you should or even begin to hyper invest in anyone.
The roughest part of being a content creator who wants to cover every unit is building every unit. They seriously need to buff trace drop rates because imagining building everyone sounds awful simply due to how much traces drain your stamina.
No Jingliu, no limited sustain units... This is going to hurt haha

Ruan Mei + Xue Yi is the Jing Liu alternative for floor 12 side 2. Supposedly Xue yi e6 actually outdamages jing liu e0 when both are on the herta shop cone. I haven't done it myself tho cuz im so low on materials lol.
@@darkhydra4262 My Xueyi is only E1 but I'll try, was planning to build her anyway. Her outdamaging Jingliu in any capacity sounds insane.
@@rinoakirova1548 to be fair its kinda a cherry picked situation since Xueyi wants attack percent from the herta cone and Jing Liu has a bunch of attack she gives herself but hey I wont complain, destruction kinda busted.
I was able to auto 11 still but had trouble with 12. I did auto on the first half but manual on second half and barely scraped by with 20 cycles left.

I wish hsr lowers the 20 turn limit...its just annoying how they punish you for not hitting 100k each hit, your basically have 5 turns each but with 2 cycles of enemies..

I don't get why you don't insta-ult with jingliu when she has the buffs and just entered her state, she literally gets an extra slot just to be able to use ult when entering without wasting

I wasn't expecting to auto 11 and 12 like I did 10, but I tried it anyways. Suffice to say, the AI took too long to finish.
I'm glad I had to manual it. Auto can be good, but too much of it can make the game boring.
I will have no weakness by the start of the second half because i will have Dr. Ratio and Kafka to work with

I haven't tried this MoC yet but I saw on Hoyolab the resoults of people who already cleared it. First thing I noticed. EVERYONE who cleared it used Bronya. So it looks like MoC XII at least is a Bronya simulator. If you don't have Bronya you probably won't be able to clear it with 3*. I'm that person who don't have enough luck to lose 50/50 to Bronya even if I lost my 50/50 85% of the time. Anyway I will try MoC on Friday. I expect 2* on MoC XII and if so I don't care about MoC XI because even with 3* I will not get last 60 jades anyway so it's whatever. But maybe I'm wrong and it's doable without Bronya? I dunno yet.
I'd say without Bronya. The SPD needs to clear MOC 12 probably are insane.
MoC 12 took me 3 attempts simply because I was testing Xueyi. So actually 2 attempts

I did it first time and I think it was mainly due to my Fu-xuan and Gepard. Geppy is so underrated, my characters are as built as yours (maybe less I only have geppy and fus signatures) and with geppy on the second half with qingque, no issues, no one even really got touched, and he uses 0 skill points :)). I feel like the way the game is going and looking at your deaths preservation units are much better for the harderst content, or maybe I'm saying this as I lost both 50/50s on the abundance units 🤣
You should try builiding him and use him in floor 12. No one is talking about this, and I imagine many using abundance struggled like you. Could make for a good video ;). Every Geppy haver would click for sure!
Also one thing no one talks about is having geppy means you can build all your supports for damage. E.g. pela, ting, yukong, silverW. With ruin me this damage can be very good. And I think this exta damage adds to more utility than the benefits of hu & luocha 🤷♂️

24:38 you're not bad, a bad player would'nt be able to clear it and you did 3star clear in the end, but i'd say you could have made a better composition for floor 12.
if i was in your account i woul've made team 1: Blade, Ruan Mei, Bronya, Fu Xuan. and team 2: Jingliu, Pela, Tingyun, Huo Huo.
Essentially Fu Xuan is the best sustain for Blade since she not only increases your overall Crit Value, but FX can also increase Blade's max HP thus making him do more damage, both Ruan Mei and Bronya major buffs arent attack related so they are Blade's best friends.
For Jingliu Pela Tingyun Huo Huo there is a tech taht allows a almost permanent buffed state for JL so it's great team and Jingliu is broken enough to just ignore the MoC mechanics.
Another thing that may have worsened your life is that you werent playing around the MoC blessing(at least for team 1 in MoC 12), so it would've been way easier if you were breaking with Blade instead of using Argenti, and if you wanted you could use Luocha instead of Fu Xuan so you could dispell enemies revives and life steal.
I hope i could help you, but it's hard for me to give feedback trought a chat message, specially since english is not my main language and im not completely fluent(imo texting in english is a lot harder than speaking), but i would love to go vc with you and help you clearing content(if you want to ofc)
by playing around the blessings i mean stacking as many stacks you could and trying to kill the adds so the blessing would only hit the elites, and for that Luocha would be better than Fu Xuan since he can dispell the revives for the enemies in the side one of MoC 12.
So forget about the Blade Ruan Mei Bronya Fu Xuan and use Luocha instead of FX(unles you are dying with Luocha as the sustain).

today i pulled in blade banner got gepard and then i was close to getting 5* from standard banner and i had 10 pulls saved and when i pulled i got bailu. i am so unlucky i only won 50/50 once that was on ruan mei banner other than that i lost all my 50/50 to those useless characters so right now i have silver wolf, luocha and ruan mei as limited banner characters who are good but i literally don't even have a proper dps i only have e1 himeku and i wonder how am i suppose to beat the content in this game i know we are getting free 5* which is good but he is hunt means pure garbage in majority of the content as hunt is still not that good. i don't even think there are any good 5* in upcoming patches ohh kafka well i don't even have to say anything we all know how she is against destruction units. i guess i might uninstall the game after getiing dr.ratio but let's see.
I'm F2P and just beat MOC 12. First team Lynx, Natasha, Bladie, and Bronya. Kafka's domination got countered nicely but was sweating to make sure I had enough turns and ended up at 25 for the second part. My second team I focused on break effect which carried me. The second team was Fu Xuan, Seele, Jing Liu, and Ruan Mei. If I didn't get Ruan Mei, I doubt I would've cleared all of MOC. It was very satisfying to complete and it gave me a rush lmao. It did take me a couple of reruns to find a team to work with but was overall fun.

I lost my 50 50 on ruanmei so i tried the moc 11-12 and tthey are definitely harder and challenging but not impossible to get full stars. I managed to get full star with argenti 😂

As far as I see, there are no runs without Jinglu, DHIL, or Argenti. It really shows how the game is unbalanced, any other damage dealer like Seele, Yanquing, Topaz, DoT&Kafka is pretty nothing because of sh*t balance. My a*s got lucky on tons of supportive chars but cmon they are nothing, they can't buff any other damage dealer to be able to complete MoC 11-12 in time. These two new stages are not about skill but JL, DHIL, and Argenti.
Funny enough, I was struggling a lot against moc 12, my selee didn't do shit xd. I thought it was because enemies Def were high af, it wasn't, bronya for some reason didn't had rope. So I was for 30 min effortlessly trying.
Btw, I think moc 11 is a lot harder than moc 12, because of than aoe stun robot, so annoying

Its kinda sad that you NEED huohuo and fuxuan (luocha does the job too) or else you wont clear w 3 stars. I hate that hoyoverse is punishing people for not pulling characters from past versions
Edit: this is mostly for moc 11. On moc 12 i managed to 4 cycle the first part with lynx and blade. Gepard does completely fine on second half. Sadly my yanqing doesnt deal enough damage to 3 star it (19 cycles left 😣) jingliu rerun when
Update: not that any of you care, but I managed to 3 star it with blade/linx/bronya/pela and gepard/ruan mei/tingyun/yanqing 🥳🥳 all e0 with 4 star lightcones except bronya. Yanqing truly the ice king.
I dont think huohuo is NEEDED but yea fu xuan and luocha go crazy this time around
As a haver of both Fu Xuan and Luochq, i can’t imagine clearing without them. I mean, a well built Gepard and Lynx SHOULD work with no issues. But i havent tried so idk. The half with lynx may need a second defensive option though
I did moc 12 with 2cycle left with a fu Xuan and a BAILU. Fu Xuan side was def ez but bailu's job was to sustain against the true sting and she actually did.
I used lynx solo sustain and got 36* so it is winnable
I cleared 3 stars on MoC 11 and 12 with Bailu and Fu Xuan.
Granted, one of them was limited, but you don't NEED both teams to be limited. I'm one of the few people that will argue that Bailu is better at keeping the team alive than Luocha. The invigoration buff from Bailu is massively underrated by the community.

I cleared MoC12 first try yep. Tho i must say, the team I used for Side 1 is Imbibitor Lunae, Tingyun, Hanya and Fu Xuan (took 4 cycles). 2nd Half was Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Bronya and Huohuo (took 0 cycle to clear. YEP Ruan Mei + Bronya + Huohuo is not only I never left Spectral Transmigration State but also every ability of Jingliu was hitting 400k+)
