FUN FACT: Am i glad he's frozen in there and that we're out here and that he's the sheriff and that we're frozen out here and that we're in there and i just remembered we're out here, what i wanna know is where's the caveman? (skooks referenc appreciation post)
I once had always cast rock and homing perk. That shit was nuts. I would wander through entire levels seeing nothing but bloodstained walls and the gold left behind, and a few viscera soaked rocks.
Wow! This was a really well-written and hilarious introduction to Noita, and you've successfully convinced me to try out the game sometime. Great work!
It's ridiculous how much youtube recommends daily slop and clickbait content instead of these kinds of top tier videos. Props to you my man, incredible work.
indian ceo: HERE'S BRAIN ROT PAY FOR PREMIUM WHILE WE FILL THE SITE WITH CANCER, ADS AND WE FIRE 90% OF OUR WORKERS AND REPLACE THEM WITH BOTS. WHY DOES PEOPLE KEEP USING ADBLOCK?
This is unironically the best intro to noita I've seen. Too many of the other videos try to go deep into mechanics that just confuse and bore people unfamiliar with the game. Keeping it to overarching concepts helps focus in on what is really important and the humour makes everything easier to digest. GG WP.
I think this was the best noita guide ive ever watched because other guides try to go too indepth on alot of the spells or mechanics and it makes the player trying to learn more confused than they already are
I might or might not have managed to complete the sun by throwing myself into it as the last entity needed as fuel. It was among the most questionable accidental endings I have had in a long time. Also my 2cents on the goal: Exploration, both through experimentation in wands and alchemy as well as literally looking into every corner of the world. Even if its not considered winning, achieving things like: - killing the concept of water itself - creating a boss killing wand that pierces nearly all resistances, in addition to being homing and deleting everything in a general direction, only to accidentally give it a 1% chance friendly fire (piercing all my own resistances) - sacrifice of oneself in the name of knowledge is the highest tribute to the gods - something something machinegun - I ate the moon That, among more whack is what in my opinion constitutes winning
My go to for crashing noita is to find a kammolukki and fire a machinegun stream of piercing bouncing bursts set to each trigger a giga-deathcross every frame it makes contact assuming it doesnt hit a wall. ...my game became a slide show very quickly.
I got the game recently, and learned the hard way not to add acid trail to a forked double rain cloud (with the perk to remove limit on most spells)... I tried it out in a Holy Mountain and it boy did it anger the gods when I melted a hole... into the next Holy Mountain below... apparently acid in water is a really bad idea...
I somehow lucked into getting an always cast Circle of Vigor wand and ruined it by picking up the concentrated spells perk, so the Circle of Vigor now hurt me. It was the single most Noita thing I've ever done in the game. FML
Theoretically if you found light shot it would need the damage enough to heal again, and you could also eventually use the nullification alter to remove concentrated spells
I have played Noita before and this is a fun introductory video. Did I learn anything? No. But it was still fun thanks to your generous humor and "quality" drawings. Thank u O₃
"Metaphorically enjoy the feeling of internal hemorrhaging." Um, I'm not sure what "metaphorical enjoyment" is, but I'm more concerned that the internal hemorrhaging _isn't_ metaphorical.
Cast delay and recharge time are actually pretty simple; cast delay is the amount of time between each spell and recharge time is the delay between each spell cycle, to give an example a wand with a low cast delay but a high recharge time could fire all of its spells quickly, but would then take a while to recharge and let you use said spells again
The most noita moment I've had was when I discovered homing, piercing, spark trigger, gamma, and nuke. Imagine a projectile homing to every single enemy with the most chaotic flight pattern and for every frame it connects with an enemy it casts gamma spawning a nuke infinitely. Now imagine that with no explosion immunity. For but just a brief moment before my skin charred and my blood evaporated from my body I became a god of death, killing anything and everything upon my screen.
I remember getting a wand build that was "Hover above ground" with "Rock" Haha rock go space. Also it was very VERY easy to get kills to enemies above you, fun stuff.
If you only ever cast one spell at a time on your wand, you (mostly) won't be able to tell the difference between cast delay and recharge rate, but if you cast multiple spells (or, to get needlessly precise, casting blocks), then the cast delay tells you how quickly the spells will cast in order, and the recharge rate tells you how long before you can cast again from the beginning. If you think of it like a gun, cast delay is the fire rate, and recharge rate is the reload speed. If you only fire one spell payload from a wand before it loops around, the slower of the two is your fire rate.
Great video. Just enough information to help out new players, just enough humiliating deaths to amuse long time players. Spell - x- Spell -x- Spell -y- back to the beginning x is the first number on the wand, cast delay, in seconds. y is the second number on the wand, recharge time.
great video! should've said that spell modifiers are the SPICE of the meat, if spells are the meat of the game. spells are nothing without some spice like piercing shot, can't do much with a bland wand of just spells even if you have low cast and recharge 😉
iron stomach plus the mana fluid thingy can also get you a ton of mana (turn a large body of water into mana fluid and then drink the ocean, infinite effect time for stupid mana)
wand stats for idiots: Cast delay = time between each spell cast by the wand. You want this LOW. Recharge time = delay after final spell in the wand before it loops back to the first spell again (in a shuffle wand, this will be RANDOM). You want this LOW. Max mana = boolits. You need boolits to shoot spells. Bigger spells with more modifiers eat more boolits. A wand with 100 mana cannot cast a 101 mana spell. You want this HIGH ENOUGH TO CAST YOUR SPELLS. Mana Charge Speed = boolit refill rate. A wand with 1000 boolits is worthless if you only refill 20 per second. You want this HIGHER THAN THE MAX MANA. Spread = degrees of spread. = Straight line, 360 = you can shoot behind yourself (or shoot yourself), 720 or higher= Your wand fires in random directions. All of them.
Cast delay is how many seconds to cast the next spell before you run out of spell slots. Recharge time is how many seconds to cast the next spell after you run out of spell slots.
Erm aschually chainsaw > add mana because it resets the cooldown of your spells (and decreases recharge time) allowing you to make even the starter wand into a cpu scaring weapon 🤓 add mana is required to keep the fire up tho
1:14 we make this as fast as possable cast delay is firerate of gun recharge time is how much time you fumble around reloading gun end of excersize XD pff and we dident even get in to spell wraping here XDDD
how is this a 80sub-channel video?? love the editing but tbh you should tone down a bit the "I'm lazy I suck" remarks would love to see more gaming stuff stuff (cruelty squad? it's Finnish as well)
yeah I think the amount of self-deprecation was kinda a symptom of how long ago the script was written compared to the rest of the video, less of that in the future
lmao I just realized, noita is technically, the worst game for twitch. If noita suddenly got a massive surge in popularity, twitch servers would die due to lack of compression.
"permanent shield is permanent shield but gamble could be anything! it could even be permanent shield!" fuckin' lmao

I highly recommend it, it's also relatively cheap

perfectly explained. thank you for not being fury forged.
The "I don't understand them" is so real. That weird eyeball exists solely to make parallel world teleport wands from the wiki.

i got an unlimited spells perk early, along with an earthquake spell. oh lord what fun. In totally unrelated news, I'm starting a new Noita run
Greek letters, fungal shift, gold rooms, alchemical precursor, etc. So many things.

i have 400 hours plus on noita and have yet to begin understanding what witchcraft the maniacs in the discord server are doing with dandelions
Well written and funny video about an awesome game!
I really enjoyed the video even though I'm a HUGE noita nerd and it is my favorite game of all time. The scripting was so good and entertaining.

The Croix89 bit at 7.15!! I miss those days
I suck at Noita but man is it fun to heck around with the wands and die to my hubris

you definitely need more recognition, loved the video

Funny and helpful, great job

Pretty fun video!! I should try Notia, looks like a fun time now that I know the pro strats :) Nice work!
I'm gonna argue that no more shuffle is the best perk, but other than that, agreed 😂😂😂 God I HATE shuffle wands.
Gotta say the unsubscribe end card was pretty clever
Great video. Just enough information to help out new players, just enough humiliating deaths to amuse long time players.
Spell - x- Spell -x- Spell -y- back to the beginning
x is the first number on the wand, cast delay, in seconds. y is the second number on the wand, recharge time.
great video!
should've said that spell modifiers are the SPICE of the meat, if spells are the meat of the game. spells are nothing without some spice like piercing shot, can't do much with a bland wand of just spells even if you have low cast and recharge 😉
To an extent I agree, but also calling it the meat of the meat is funnier
this goes so hard
Funfact: Chainsaw sets your Cast Speed to 0 for every spell that is cast with it.
Когда не понимаешь по английски , но очень интересно
oh yeah noitaed
1:54 something about the chainsaw being cast at the same time as the orb, chainsaw has weird properties
Lots of good info and entertainment here. Don't sell yourself short, man!
I checked the bottom of my laptop to see if I'm gonna get a thermal shutdown several times throughout the video lol.
Amazing production dude
BANGER steam name in the corner.
No mention of chainsaw my beloved 😭
i loved this video, thanks for blessing my day
Well made video
This was a well made video.
You missed a Diamond on the minute 5:13

iron stomach plus the mana fluid thingy can also get you a ton of mana (turn a large body of water into mana fluid and then drink the ocean, infinite effect time for stupid mana)
The only way to play noita incorrectly is to beat the game
yeah u right actually my bad soldier
got me with the reverse psychology unscubscribe at the end
ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ME RIGHT NOW

Always cast either gives you the most useless spell ever or a free win, no in between

Honestly love the art tho, very well done

fantastic video dude kept my add Attention span perfectly!!!!
Very good video. You deserve more views. Remember to add hashtags to your vid, it helps with getting it recommended to people.
Nice video good memes
Chainsaw is equal with add mana solely because go faster by removing the cast delay number :)
I came here for complete nonsense and the exact opposite of a guide I am upset reverse liked
this is like good and stuff go make more
pretty cool 😎
4:08 Bro you can't both have a specific note there AND expect me to ignore
Like come on bro, (It was funny)
Nice
Great video!
this vid definitely deserves a like
this was a fun video :3

Ok miss
nah add mana is s+ but not the best trust me, blood magic is basically better add mana and add triger just completly remove mana cost
Ok. Now do Noita in real life
lmao I just realized, noita is technically, the worst game for twitch. If noita suddenly got a massive surge in popularity, twitch servers would die due to lack of compression.
