Great video! I just got my order from Rokland with 2 of the tactical goosenecks and 2 of the shorter flexible whips. I only have a TinySA ultra, so I can’t really check the SWR, but I’m definitely getting better reception than with stock antennas from Liligo or RAK. I need to order a nano VNA to at least have some sort of testing option. The flexible whips are awesome and feel super well made. I put one on my kids t-deck, so now I don’t have to worry about him breaking it. Then another on a deployable relay built from a t3s3. I got the goosenecks for my t-beam supremes, to be mounted to packs or as mobile base stations. They feel extremely solid and weigh about the same as the entire node with battery. They don’t flex quite as much as I hoped, but you can get a 90 degree bend without worry of breaking. My main concern is the sma connection on the radio. You may want to reinforce the connection with support from your enclosure. The Allycat t-beam supreme case does include support for this, but I had to expand the hole slightly to fit the base of the antenna. Most of the other enclosures I’ve seen don’t have a way to add support to this area, so be careful. Now I want to grab a few of the longer whips as well for my mobile RAK nodes.
