For sure, her freakout scene with Veyle was my favorite performance in all of engage. I didn't think they'd give her another alt so soon, let alone a fallen one, but man,,,, I am NOT complaining
After reading her quotes, Evil Veyle is someone who'd pout if her friend (rightfully)doesn't accept her gift of someone's severed head. The fact she sounds genuinely touched over the thought of The Summoner possibly killing Good Veyle for her is unnerving.....
Remember how the Fallen Heroes were usually easy to distinguish from the other heroes with their glowing red eyes? Well, Veyle is the only fallen hero in this banner to have this trait.
In Ursula and Lumera’s cases, the two are literally walking corpses at this point. And Corrupted only have red eyes if they aren’t well done, like with Morion. Veyle could make better Corrupted than Sombron, until the latter absorbed the rings’ power, thus making him even better than Veyle at that.
Fallen Veyle sounds intimidating, super cruel and I love it. Fallen Lumera sounds like she has a creepy obsession with Alear and I also love that. Edit: Holy crap, Fallen Lumera said Alear's name! Let's GO!
Lumera is such a highlight with that top tier acting. With engage being my favorite fire emblem game you know it’s something when you are one of the best highlights of said game.
@@aeolus15From the way he implied it in the cutscene, Aenir was _taken_ from Nergal and the kids (in all likelihood forcibly), and I think he left Ninian and Nils near the Dragon's Gate because he didn't want to risk their safety while he tried to rescue their mother. I think it's possible that Nergal was too late to save Aenir, and by the time he went back to the Dragon's Gate, Ninian and Nils had already went through, and without a dragon to help him, he couldn't get in while it was closed, which started his desperation to find any means to reopen the Dragon's Gate, sending him towards the path of insanity. It's such a shame, really; there was no implication of him being a bad father when he was still with his family, and the fact that Nils described Nergal's call to him and Ninian as "like that of an old friend" likely meant that they followed the call out of subconscious love and longing for their father... a father who now no longer remembered anything of who he was, and why he was doing any of this.

Then even back in Shadow Dragon the Darksphere could enhance bad behaviors to make someone become the WORSE TYPE OF PERSON THEY USUALLY WOULD NOT as shown with Gharnef (it's mentioned he was once a good man with a strong sense of justice! Messing with the Darksphere to make Imhullu from it was a HORRIBLE idea) and used on Harden (and in the Remake Emeriya) to make them their WORSE type of person (Harden's jealous towards Marth at it's WORSE and Emeriya along with her memories sealed training children into assassins and enjoying their pain!). However in Warriors! Thrajia does tell Linde her father Miloah is the reason Aura only works for her (ignoring the "only female" thing since she's the only female mage in shadow dragon) and in a funny way that you see another AURA in the map you fight Gharnef for the last time! It's clear this is why Gharnef could never use it! Even with the FUCKING DARKSPHERE! Miloah STILL was the stronger of the two and Tharja was trying to show Linde that dark magic is NOT evil since we KNOW she has a bias to it do to WHO killed her father with it) Nergal will always in my opinion be the BEST example of the SCARY side of Dark/Elder Magic in the series and what will happen if your not careful in it's usage! I think Niime said it, but if not it still applies "Power does come at a price" likely WHY all the Dark Magic users in the series have been the STRONGEST (Don't bring up Sophia for anyone thinking of bringing her up I don't care) and even shown with Thraja, Nyx, Ophelia and Owain as Odin that it CAN be used for good while STILL being able to work with it as Bad Guys using it such as ALL the Gharnef's in the Series (Lehran is a BEYOND a SAINT as an Ancient Being and the Heroin can cast ALL magic like Athos) and even those like Iago who can use STAVES in an Entry where Sorcerers can't use them like the CHEATER he is! He's a joke, but so was Lekain and even they were dangerous magic users if you underestimated them! It's funny how Light Magic has always been it's weakness despite being the Speed but LOW damage of the three magic types! Likely because it was "meant to keep the Dark in check" I suppose Sad how Nergal teleported SIMPLY to laugh and MOCK Eliwood for killing HIS OWN DAUGHTER, but he was SO FAR GONE that he couldn't even recognize her! Nor his kids to him because it's been a LONG while and frankly I can see why they would NEVER associate their kind father to such "an evil being like Nergal" (Though I suspect Nils knew, but kept it too himself, would suck too as Blazing Sword puts the kid through the RINGER! Especially if you make Eliwood x Ninian happen! He likely kept it a secret for Ninian's sake). As Athos said, he's TOO far gone to even be SAVED and frankly makes what happened to Canas brother's look like a MERCY to turning into "that!" (I get WHY Canas would prefer the events of Blazing Sword disappear from history! Nergal would stand as the VERY THING HIS MOTHER WOULD FEAR THE MOST OF A DARK MAGIC USER TURNING INTO! In anime and video games, he’s played: - Queen and Urouge (One Piece) - Arcadios (Fairy Tail) - Ton Jravolta (Space Dandy) - Clay (Borderlands 3) - Qual (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) - Navel (Dragon Ball Xenoverse) - Murdock (Pokémon Horizons) Perhaps the biggest thing he’s done besides that, however… ever seen the Aladdin Broadway production? Well, for four years, Attaway was the face of Aladdin’s Genie of the Lamp! I don’t think he plays him anymore, but it’s going to show just how much reach FEH is beginning to have with the talents it vets!

I expected Veyle and Queen Lumera to be there as fallen heroines. Yet, her fixation with Alear is proof that she regrets not being by his side for much longer. Like Rhea who insisted on resurrecting the goddess Sothis, her mother, in order to see her once again... Both dragon ladies are similar in this.
Veyle's voice lines honestly break my heart... I'm serious. It hurt to listen to. Not because it was bad; it was great, in fact. Just... bad memories. Edit: they all hurt me.

*sigh* The banner has got me mixed, one one hand Eveyle & Corrupted Lumera are nice to see, but I really wanted to see my boy Past Malear and I'm hella scared he'd be skipped next year in favor of Past Galear. Eveyles lines are honestly more intimating and menacing here compared to Engage, weird choice to mention none of the 4 Hounds being here despite 2 are technically here. Her line about Veyle hurt me a bit. Corrupted Lumera is way nore haunting here in design and voice acting, they did her justice. Being revived has basically thrown all of her negative traits into the forefront & it shows. Her line thanking us for summoning her sticks out, she is definitely from before Alear was even close to the confrontation with her & she was just stuck in the castle guarding the place alone. While she's only focused on her child here, she can acknowledge the postives in other things. Seeing Nergal finally in here is was nice woo, Engage & FE7 for here were an interesting choice. Now that she's finally here, is it bad to admit to having a feeling of arousal everytime the Fell Dragon Daughter opens her mouth? Like dear *GODS!* Why does Ms. Megan Taylor Harvey gotta go hard for her dark side? That soft, sultry, sinister tone of voice needs to be *banned* in all 5 nations of Elyos! Welp. Ursula Emblem is now a reality. Also NGL, even when becoming a Morph, I don't really feel a difference with the woman from her normal state. Eveyles lines are honestly more intimating and menacing here compared to Engage, weird choice to mention none of the 4 Hounds being here despite 2 are technically here. Her line about Veyle hurt me a bit.
Corrupted Lumera is way nore haunting here in design and voice acting, they did her justice. Being revived has basically thrown all of her negative traits into the forefront & it shows. Her line thanking us for summoning her sticks out, she is definitely from before Alear was even close to the confrontation with her & she was just stuck in the castle guarding the place alone. While she's only focused on her child here, she can acknowledge the postives in other things.
Seeing Nergal finally in here is was nice woo, Engage & FE7 for here were an interesting choice. NOW GIVE ME MY RED BABY BOY YOU COWARDS, I NEED MY PAST MALEAR AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
