- Dry Falls in Highlands, NC is located on US 64 in North Carolina in the western part of the state. There is a parking lot that can fit about 25 cars and the entry fee is $3.00. Pit toilet is available in the parking lot if needed. There are stairs that go down to the waterfall where you can walk underneath the flowing water. It is an awesome sight to behold.
