I want you guys to know that the podcast and TH-cam. Channel have kept me pumped up and on the track long enough to take my first buck this season. Nov 15th 6:58am it weighed 190lbs and a nice heavy non typical 8 pt out of NH. It was my 5th hunting season I’ve never been able to sit the idea of moving and tracking is where it’s at for me. Thanks Joey and izaak and everyone else at northwoods whitetails.

Thank you, The go pro mount is a home made one from PC tubbing. The go pro is easier then cell phone in the sense both hands are free. Stagr gear makes a great pack we would recommend if your interested in self filming.
I am in NewBrunswick Canada and all my youth I was so excited for snow in whitetail season. Being on the coastal part of my province and our season ending at end of November, we rarely get to hunt in snowy conditions anymore. Does season run into December in Maine?
What advantage you bait deer in MI no deer over 1.5 year old comes in. I can tell you have never baited deer. Nor hunted outside North east Tracking wouldn’t work in most whitetail country. WAY to many deer combined with all private land.
Enjoyed the video, not the stupid ass comments, though. In my 50+ years of hunting, and being lucky to hunt in a vast diversity of geographic regions. Hunters shouldn't belittle other hunters! What works in one area doesn't work in others. Also technology has advanced so much so don't act like tracking deer hasn't changed. Especially with smartphones,GPS devices, apps and lighter equipment. I've hunted in Maine and northcentral Pennsylvania The hardest buck I ever hunted were urban suburban mature trophy buck on small properties. You can't bait em, track em, or even give them a hint of your presence. Way harder than hunting in the mountains. Just my opinion, but opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. My advice, life's short, enjoy the hunting opportunities available. Keep learning and be willing to adapt. End of story.......
Thank you, too! This season, I'm taking a different approach. My father's in his 80s, and he still hunts. He's kinda lost now that mom's in a home. This year is about him getting a nice buck.
Camera was facing the ground as I was sitting on one knee.. way it goes, your never gonna get everything on camera and never sacrifice a hunt because of a camera. Thanks for watching though we appreciate it

I was on one knee and shoulder mount was facing the ground. One of those moments your not gonna sacrifice a hunt just to get footage.

Yes, runs the first couple weeks of December typical in some of the more central, and western zones. Usually guaranteed snow by then.
