Hi Jan . My visa got approved in September .However , the employer told me to wait until January 2024. They contacted me in November to go for the visa ,nevertheless the embassy requested for a new passport because my passport will be expiring in March. It's been 30days already and i have not still heard from them. Please how long does it take to transfer visa to a new passport?
Hey! I honestly have no answer for this since this is a pretty rare situation which I do not think I have dealt with before. We recommend all our clients to get new passport before submitting their application if the passport expires soon so we prevent any complications like this.

My brother applied for CULS, CZU in Prague and the faculty administrator issued a proof of accommodation in one of the school hostels. So u mean the accomodation contract is a fake one and wouldn't get him a visa??

I have applied for Blue card last April... on June, there was a request for more documents, that were sent on June 30th.. Las July 26th completed 90 days from my application date... Up to now, I don't have any response from my process.. do you think sending them a letter would be reasonable in that case?

Hi @Jan, one question from my side.. . My wife has appointment for long term residence permit card on 27th June. I am holding a blue card and it has been almost 1.5 years for me .For proof of accommodation for long term residence permit do both husband and wife needs to have name on contract ?.. Like currently I am living in a shared accommodation and the contract copy is in favour of me and the other guy . What can be done in this case?

Hi Amit, I've recently been through that process. Your wife will need either her name to be added to the lease (therefore a new lease should be generated) or a separate proof of accommodation form should be signed for her by your landlord proving that he/she knows she will also be accommodated in that residence. Jan has addressed this in some of his other videos. But there needs to be one of the two. If not, there will be no proof that she will not just end up staying somewhere else when she enters Czechia or that you won't kick her out and leave her homeless. I hope this helps.
Hi Jan, I submitted my study visa application in Nigeria on October 27th, 2022. So far it has been 121 days since I submitted my application yet my visa status on the MOI website is still showing "In Process" what can I do??

I submitted my document on 3rd number and even our application numbers were serially arranged but i'm not getting any sort of response on 63 days where other people in our group got approval within 40 days..... The step #4 is to throw a potato at a Minister of the interior! I would recommend trying the first three steps first though.
