  • Here's a simple trick to prevent the Bosch E15 code (water detected in base). This is regular maintenance you MUST do, plus how to clear the error code. Do this first before buying any new parts.

I have a similar model. Pulling it out and simply lifting the sound insulation was AWESOME. I was able to access everything easily. I was dreading: #1 having to buy a set of torque screwdrivers...I'll bet most families don't have those on hand. 2# Loosing screws and things...I'm like the Three Stooges all rolled into one when it comes to fixing things...parts everywhere, even when I put them in a "Safe place"..."Why I oughta.."

You really don't need to take the unit out. Just removing the front panel on the door will give you access to the kick plate and the cover in front. You then have access to the float and can soak up the excess water. Remove the switch and Styrofoam disc, dry and reinsert. You should be good to go. Thanks for the video!

Thanks. On mine, the front panel did not come off easily and the kick plate is even harder, so I found it much easier to just remove the 2 screws and pull it out. I guess each model is a little different.
