me too. I really liked to hear the "black" in her voice and in the way her music was written. I honestly stopped listening once she became mainstream and made songs that the masses would like. I don't mean to sound offensive when I say black, I just don't know how else to put it. You listen to "Songs in a Minor" and you immediately *know* what it felt like living in a black neighbourhood, all the culture, pain and love. Everything.
