Prince didn't "rock this so hard", he actually sang it quite softly in a piano driven, falsetto vocal. All three artists performed the song well and I enjoy all of them regularly. Prince gets most of the credit since it is HIS song first and foremost. Stephanie Mills simply has the best vocal ability of the 3 singers in question and that comes through in her version of this song. As good and original as Prince and Keys are, neither of them could possibly out-sing Stephanie Mills.
