I'm going to copy and paste some of the notes I took when messing around with these songs were relevant.
Getting the heartbeat into these songs was such a pain in the ass. What I would give to have a U Corp Resonance Tuning Fork to perfectly mesh this heartbeat into these songs exactly the way it sounded in game. Unfortunately, I had to do all of this by ear, so forgive me for any descrepancies between the Instrumental and Complete versions you may hear. Trust me...just trust me when I say this was a real pain to set up. But despite that it was actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be, even after editing hit hour 1. But a huuuuuge pain.
And then I hit hour two and it was...just zooming in using Audacity to see if each heartbeat lines up the way I think it's supposed to so it sounds good. Ugh...that was a bit less fun. At least I'm pretty sure both Instrumental and Lyrical match up almost perfectly now.

You see, the problem was I had to listen to some videos of the fight and listen to how the heartbeat played out there, but I also know the heartbeat for the most part matches up to the beat of the song. I tried my best, and I'm sure it matches up. The hardest parts were figuring out at what point during the end part of the song the Pallid Whale's heartbeat stopped. And some fuckery I did that made looping back to the beginning for the instrumental and normal loop a bit more annoying than it should have been.
