Simon is not as big of a deal as people think. These docu-series and some of their vlogs glorify Simon so most people automatically "love him" but that's what Simon wants people to see. There are countless issues on the management side mostly caused by Simon but I won't go into detail here as it is all over Twitter and Weibo already. The training, producing etc. was mostly done by AVEX. XGALX is the subsidiary of AVEX, Japan's biggest music label. Most of their earlier songs were produced by AVEX USA. They were trained by AVEX Japan trainers etc. As far as I can see, the main qualification Simon had was that he was familiar with all 3 countries they aimed to target. Korea,Japan and the USA as he is half Korean half Japanese and was raised in the USA. You have already seen some and will see that some things are unnecessarily extreme and pointless. Girls are amazing tho so all the power to them. It gets harder to watch just so you know :) they really go through rough sht.
You make it sound like Simon manipulated the documentary to make him look good and more influential into developing XG and XGALX. Although I agree what you commented about Avex and management played a bigger part in this business, but don't downplay the fact they allowed Simon to release everything that he was involved in to production including this documentary series. He stuck his neck out into making this group and studio work on behalf of Avex and management. This series shows his and the final member's passion of being a team of XG. This is Simon's passion project and as far as I'm concerned he is the face of Avex and XGALX. Not just a producer but also a CEO rep of the company.

hey sbay! thank you for mentioning this. I was thinking about this as well. I will do something about that from now on to improve viewer experience :D
Not just a producer but also a CEO rep of the company.
you are going to twitter and weibo for facts and information? interesting......
@@whathappened8964 facts and information are "shared" on social media platforms to raise awareness you dmb dmb :)
@@whathappened8964 information is "shared" on social media platforms, which is the main feature of those platforms you dummy :) to raise awareness and make people see what is going on. the "facts" are on what is "shared".
