I bought a used a-frame camper reently and had not towed a trailer before, so I looked at a bunch of videos to educate myself. Your video here is the only one that suggested stopping the car with the hitchball slightly forward of the hitch cup, and it works like a charm! I really appreciate that tip! Cheers!
Appreciate this vid; The Ford Edge; is it the V6 or Ecoboost? Wife has the same car 2017 Ecoboost. As you we tow a TT but on a whole other level in size and our TV is a F150. But we have an interest for a 2nd TT and the Aliner Sport Lite has our interest. Thanks
No, it’s not the Eco Boost but my Ford Edge did come with a factory tow package with a 3500# tow capacity. My Aliner is only 1100# so I’m well covered. They are so light, can’t even tell it’s there. Your wife shouldn’t have any trouble towing it depending on the towing specs for the eco boost model. I loved the bigger TT too when I had it. Nice to have options 😊 Happy camping!
So glad you posted this. I once thought I had it down and locked and drove for an hour. Then hit a speed bump in a parking lot and it popped out! Luckily no one was hurt. But my point is that sometimes you may think your fully down and locked, and your not.

I haven’t greased it but I probably should. I know when I forget and touch it I get grease on my hands!
