@MultiMonster69 If you look when it pulls up to the tank car, the traction motor which drives the train wheel drives the road whells, so it is friction driven, except in the opposite/ironic way
Trackmobiles arent half the machine a Shuttlewagon is. Trackmobiles are always breaking down, high maintenance bills, cant couple to a car when the Rail Car coupler is sagging, cant load it on a truck because of the friction drive hubs etc, etc, etc
WOW! Impressive little beast! I would have thought a unit that small could only move 2-3 freight cars.
Nice design!!!!
These little critters are amazing to watch in action!!!
Excellente Machine dont je suis opérateur à la Compagnie des Bauxite de Guinée ( CBG )
Eso trenes motrices hay en él metro de la ciudad de México.
It's looking great! I'm amazed a little machine does a whole lot!
Excellent video and very well explained with the close up pictures thanks again for a wonderful video 👍🚥🇨🇮
What is the average diesel consumption for a Trackmobile?
Hi guys are these replacing the need for switching engines like a sw1500 or something along those lines?
Genial .
on amtrak's silver meteor you would need only 1 trackmobile compared to 2 p42s
Trackmobiles are slow. Mainline duties should be confined to fast and speedy locomotives, not slow switching machines.
Great video!

I saw one of these pulling some ballast hoppers on the CN Main Line today!

Cool. I saw one at Fort Whyte from the near by parking lot when I did the Fort Whyte spur tracks video.
Lionel makes a lot of these, but I've never seen a real one run before.
