Hey Phil just found your channel and just subbed, I really like your demo Style. ....I didn't have to wait thru 5 mins of babbling on what "drive, vol and tone controls" do....right to the sounds.
This is an awesome pedal, like many other J Rockett OD pedals. This one has slightly more OD than the blue note. Otherwise, sounds very similar to the Blue Note. I also prefer the Rockett .45 Caliber to the Rockett archer overdrive pedals. The dude overdrive does modern overdrive and distortion very well. I usually couple my rocket overdrive to the Xotic super sweet booster and xotic SP Compressor. Great tones from this combination, and nice full sound using a strat single coil.
I was looking for a demo on the silver ikon and come across your video. Phil your a amazing guitar player!!! Love those riffs! Any tab somewhere? How long have you been playing? Great sounding overdrive! J. Rockett make such nice pedals not just sounding but they look so high quality, a collectors type pedal!

Yes, I stack the Majestic after a Big Foot King Fuzz XL. This works very well with a Les Paul and Antiquity humbuckers. A lot of great tones are accessible with this set up.
What kind of delay are you using on this video? It's not overbearing, sounds, like just the right amount of delay and it disappears when you'd want it to. Just curious as to which one you're using. Also, have you tried it with a single coil pickup in the bridge (like a tele or a 3 single coil strat) Wondered if it would be enough gain with those guitars to get the same great 70's rock tone that you're getting. Great demo and very nice tasteful playing!
JustAGuitarPlayer hey dude! I think in this video I am using the Wampler Analog echo which is sadly discontinued now but any of their delays are amazing tonaly. Pedal wise, it’s very tame on the gain, so with lower output pickups it won’t be as gainy, but it works great kicking the front end of a slightly breaking up to low gain amp setting that’s loud. Sounds killer!

Great playing and tone. What model Strat is that? Looks like it has the wheel truss rod adjustment at the bottom of the neck (which are great by the way - thank you Eddie).
