I enjoy my Maschine/Ableton live (testing Waveform 13 -it's very nice) workflow a lot. I just want some updates. It would be great to get a few more sample edit tools. Like more 'detailed' options to stretch samples, for example. While playing samples as an instrument/synth, more modulations/effects would be nice, maybe adding the ability to work with a sample as a granular sample, etc. Just more ways to utilize a sample and play it like its own 'synth'. Maschine is almost there as a truly powerful sampler, and I don't think any of the above example updates would be impossible to add. I feel a solid update to its 'sampler options' would boost sales in a big way. And, of course, Machine software is falling way behind.

But overall the MK3 is great hardware and like you said has great sounds.
@@Creative_Spasciz Analog Lab is great. They have a free edition. Especially like how you can quickly analyze any preset regardless of which Synth it was made in if you also own that synth. If you don't already have V Collection and especially Pigments they are fantastic. Bought a Keylab Essential MK3 just to be able to quickly modify that sound. It's a good compliment to any of the NI keyboards and they aren't expensive.
@@watchandproduce I am going to check it out...I have Pigments and I actually have Analog Lab free edition and didn't know what I had in my presence!!! Now I am going to really take a look into it...thank you!!
JUST STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT! What more can NI do as far as upgrading features on the hardware piece itself? ALMOST NOTHING! As long as they provide usable updates and your current piece of hardware is still working, BE CONTENT with that!! Look at what Akai did with support of Renaissance and Touch. As far as I've seen and heard, all of NI's hardware is still usable with current Maschine software. I admit that I'd be curious as to what updated features they could incorporate on a new Maschine unit! But again, besides maybe a touch screen, a possible XLR-input and some additional knobs to control some parameters... I truly believe not much is gonna change. (JUST MY OPINION ONLY)
Another great comment!!! I agree, in my opinion there really ain't much they can do physically. I think a touch screen would be nice, if it works properly....I would rather keep it to no touch screen and working versus touch screen with an added problem!!
What I can't stand is the ScanApp. It's poorly written code. Period. If Reason, Ableton Live can get it right why can't NI? After all the money I spent on the controller, sample packs I shouldn't have to find a work around their BS poorly written code.
@@Creative_Spasciz I have a fuk ton of vst 's. Which some are incompatible to work in Maschine. Both Reason and Ableton have in the scanning feature the ability to skip over the one's it's having problems with and never having to scan them again. This is a code solution. NI instead wants me to find the vst it doesn't like and remove them from their folder. This is insane because of the amount of vst's I have. I've tried every solution to minimize this flaw in their program when NI could remedy this by just looking at what Reason and Ableton did to remedy it.
Maschine got double lapped by everyone. Unless your stuck in the maschine ecosystem, its not worth it now with. somany other options for DAW's and hardware.
@@Creative_Spasciz Have an mpc live right now. Pretty much as a sampler and resampler so i dont program on it much. Just sample, chop and bring those chops into a DAW. Makes it so dont have to sit in front of a computer doing the tedious stuff and its portable. Record samples or some chord progressions resampling the plugins, shop it up and off to the races. I had a machine and a maschine+ in the past, liked the workflow but saw everything else moving beyond it. Like maschine software sort of stopped updating aroudn the auto-sampler and polysynth updates. Havent heard anything about it since. Since them the MPC has added plugin instruments in standalone, tons of pretty good FX and functionality and now they are bringing STEMs. NI is just not that great a company anymore so beware since their support for products is pretty slow or if anything at all. BUT, if you groove with it, then its all good cause thats what matters most but NI has been a disappointment. Master of presets and kontakt.
For the record, i had an s88, s61, s49, maschine, and jam... all at once... and all they ever dud was fight. All the good qualities of one were useless. You picked one, and the rest had to be in raw ass plane jane no graphics midi mode. Otherwise anything you touched on one device screwed with every other one. Such a poorly developed ecosystem. It seems they could care less about fixing it, too.
Ahhh, ok….i see what you saying. I thinks it’s more setup to work in having choices. I can’t prove that but I think that’s the premise. I do understand what you’re saying though cause I have the M32 and the S49 mk2 and having to manipulate between the 2 of them is a hassle…so I completely understand that!!
@@Creative_Spasciz yeah its hard to explain because it does "kinda" work, but in way thats always useful. Its more pronounced if you wanted to say have 2 keyboards following the tracks on 2 different groups. When you go back to pafs, all the keyboards kinda click over with it instead of stay put. Theres no easy way to say be triggering sounds on the maschine on jam, while playing along lead on the keyboard unless you drop the keyboard to midi mode and just permanently leave it there.

Just give us audio tracks in clips mode and done!
Yeaaa, that’s a good one!!!
It's not what u use but what u can do with it
Mic Drop!!! Thank you!!!
Just treated like an old classic hardware, simple
Yup, thats me....I use mine very much!!!
What I can't stand is the ScanApp. It's poorly written code. Period. If Reason, Ableton Live can get it right why can't NI? After all the money I spent on the controller, sample packs I shouldn't have to find a work around their BS poorly written code.
What work around do you have to do, like problems are you running into??
@@Creative_Spasciz I have a fuk ton of vst 's. Which some are incompatible to work in Maschine. Both Reason and Ableton have in the scanning feature the ability to skip over the one's it's having problems with and never having to scan them again. This is a code solution. NI instead wants me to find the vst it doesn't like and remove them from their folder. This is insane because of the amount of vst's I have. I've tried every solution to minimize this flaw in their program when NI could remedy this by just looking at what Reason and Ableton did to remedy it.
@@jimmiejames4674 Ah, yes....I know what you mean now....I can completely understand the frustration with that!!
Maschine got double lapped by everyone. Unless your stuck in the maschine ecosystem, its not worth it now with. somany other options for DAW's and hardware.
Gotcha, can I ask what do you use??
@@hasan7786 That's dope bro!!! I am not a MPC user but bro...that new STEMS is so dope!!! Nice addition!!
Yeah, also has been crushing it for the past 2 years of updates. Its crazy.
@@hasan7786 yea, they been killing it!!
Apparently its worse now than it used to be with one device stealing focus from another. NI gear hates other NI gear.
Go more into details on this. You said one device stealing focus from another?? Very interesting point!!
*THAT IS SUCH A DUMB LOADED QUESTION!* WTF DUDE??!
@@officialpoa3171 which question??
