    I make knives and if I could add this element to my bolsters it would be incredible.

      Thank you Oleg! Yes, all of this started kind of unexpected and as I started learning more about engraving, I became more fascinated with this type of work. Then I took several classes with master engravers. Now this became my another hobby and I'm still learning how to do various techniques! Great to hear from you!

      I use sometimes Black Midas see this video: th-cam.com/video/r28GIF7MMZc/w-d-xo.html
      And other times I use metal Black Rust Oleum paint.
      In this case I decided to go with RustOleum paint.

    it seems very easy if you do it. I'm a little confused when cutting a scroll about choosing the type of chisel 90/120/116 what is your advice for beginners. on the one hand i like a bit deep cut

    • @ASkobiDesigns
      @ASkobiDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Either 120 or 116 is what recommended.

    What do you use to fill in the engraving?

    I have a question in regard to creating a laser transfer. How do you prevent your transfer while printing it to keep it from going through the laser infuser. On my printer it seems that after you press print, it automatically goes through the dryer after it prints is there a way to prevent this. I’ve tried different papers that are silicone, coating, etc. to keep the print from adhering to the paper none work as well as what you’re showing. Thanks.

      I stop the printer before it goes to the dryer part by opening the front printer cover. This mimics a paper jam and printer stops the paper feed.
