Hello. Nice video. Sir i am having a doubt. I have sent graduation transcripts from delhi university but my status at wes says statement of marks - accepted and degree certificate- not received. Can i directly upload the degree i have to my account or i have to apply all over again for transcripts?
How did you send the other documents?
All were sent by university only. Mdu sent everything electronically, ignou also sent itself ( i applied and pay for the fees only and photocopies were also given). And mdu and ignou were accepted in one go. Its du only in which faced problem. They gave me sealed envelope and i posted it via university post. Now wes also shows that degree certificates can be uploaded directly. I just want to make sure if it can be done or not.
Yes, it definitely can be done. Go to your Account Timeline and scroll down to the 'Upload Degree Certificates and Translations section'. You'll get a set of instructions with document size and formats etc.

Very useful video. I have called and verified with my university and the process is just to upload the Degree certificate and Marklist. I am so happy that I came across this video. U just saved a lot of my time and money. Thank you so much. Only one confusion, if you have masters, WES is asking to upload Bachelors certificate also. Not sure, how they will evaluate, if the masters and bachelors are from 2 different universities.

Hi Jason, Very Good Info about ECA thru WES. Distance Education Masters Degree is accepted by WES for ECA, as I am working professional.

2. Statement of Marks (State Board Issued and Attested)
Ask the appropriate State Board of Technical Education to attest and send your document directly to WES in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the State Board of Technical Education
Where as 1. Diploma Certificate (Final or Provisional) can be uploaded online
So looks like its not entirely online , can you clarify please

Two questions, do I have to create two WES accounts, one for myself and one for my husband, is it necessary to have both our education evaluated for the Express Entry application? Second, my degree and masters is from the University of Greenwhich, who partnered with a business school in my country, how do I explain this on the WES application since the business school will have to provide my documents?

Hi ! I really appreciate your content and the videos you upload on PR related topics. It definitely helps us save time and money unnecessarily on the agencies. I have recently made an Expression Entry Application and my ECA was done back in April this year. My query here is I don’t think I recieved any physical or hard copy report from WES but I do sew the soft or e-copy on the WES app. I didn’t even upload the ECA report in my Express Entry profile I created. My query is do i need to upload in anyway possibly in the EE profile? If yes , then do i I need to just take scanned copy and upload it ? Please guide me better here 🙏 Thanks very much

Jason, hello! I've got a doubt. To Claim 22 points on FWS there's is an option that says "two or more post-secondary program credentials, one of which must be a credential issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer;" I need to validate both degrees or just one in order to claim points, because Wes says valide the highest one, thank you.

I just have one query for a scenario where a person has completed a 3 years of Diploma in computer engineering, got admitted directly in 2nd year for BE and then completed the remaining 3 years of Bachelor's in computer engineering. The hard copy isn't used at all in any application process. Its just for you, for your personal records.
Hi Jason! Thank you for posting such informative videos. I have a PhD from a US University, and my masters and bachelors degree are from India. WES indicates to submit only highest completed credential for ECA. Should I just be submit my PhD information? While doing this, I pick my country of education as US. In case I am also required to verify my masters degree credentials, I should pick India as country of education. Also, WES charges a fee for each degree verification? Many thanks!

a) I have done my Executive PG Diploma in Business Management through Symbiosis International University. This program was offered for the working professionals from the company where I had worked. The class room sessions were conducted over the weekend at our office premises. Since I didn't attend the classes at the university, am I right if I select "Non-University Postgraduate Diploma Education" against Type of Education?
b) Should i also get my Bachelors degree verified?
Hi Vijay,
a) A Non-University Postgraduate Diploma Education would mean any course not covered on a University level, basically any training in a profession (dental, engineering, etc.) that requires formal education, but not at the University level, which isn't the case for you. To further assure yourself, head on to the 'Documents Required' page on the WES (Canada) website, and select the following options (you'll see your credentials appearing in the drop down menus):
Equivalency Country: Canada; Applying for IRCC: Yes; Country of Education: India; Status: Completed; Type of Education: University Education; Which of these apply: Master's Degree Programs and Postgraduate Diploma Programs; Name of the Institution: Symbiosis International; Name of Diploma/Certificate: Diploma in Business Management
b) Yes, you should. Exemptions are only allowed for a few select PhD & Masters Degrees.

You have to upload it from the University page as demonstrated in the video, you can't upload anything independently

But, with regards to WES , any ECA process should come from University directly rather than from individual. Could you please guide on this , it would be a great help to proceed.

I did my post graduation , so If I am right I would create an application with post graduation as my qualification and submit both graduation and pg credentials to Wes , am I right ?

I’ve one query though, I’m a graduate from University of Mumbai, when I was applying for online attestation from the online portal under step 3 they asked to upload a transcript and it was mentioned that issue date should not be older than 1 year from current year. i understood from your video that the same reference number (which is provided by WES upon the fee payment) is to be used for each and every document (degree/certificate/transcript) to be sent to WES for assessment.
i just want to know if one has to pay a fee of 220$ for each document in case an applicant has multiple degrees from same/multiple universities or this 220$ is applicable for a reference number only and that reference number may have multiple degrees in it either from same or different universities.

Hi Kunaal, 220 would be for all your degrees together, you don't have to pay for them separately, unless you choose to evaluate another degree on a later date. Then you would need to pay another $100.

I need some help, while filling the WES form what should we enter in the years attended section if we have some backlogs during the degree, for example my degree was supposed to be completed from 2012 - 2015 but as I had some backlogs I cleared it in November 2017 and got the degree certificate in February 2018 so what should be the year in the year awarded ? @Dream Canada Hi. I completed my diploma from an Autonomous institution and Degree from a university. Since these are two separate institutions, how to send the transcripts to WES.I also came to know as per current WES guidelines, only institutions can send the transcripts thru courier, and individuals can not collect the transcripts from the university and send them to WES. Could you please help me with how to send both my diploma and degree transcripts to WES?

I had a query. As I'm doing the Wes process from India, I'm getting 2 options in the mailing section. One is Canadian post (10$) and another is international mail (85$). And I have to choose one or the other. As you said in the video that the physical copy isn't that important rather the digital one which will be received in my accounts if Wes and mailed to me. So what should be selected as I will be an international applicant for Canada?¿

1) I have a BA (14 years) degree from Pakistan, Postgraduate Diplomas from UK and then an MBA from UK (Anglia Ruskin Uni). So do I need to upload/send all my credentials starting from Matric/SSC, FA/HSSC, BA, PGD and MBA or only my recent qualification degree (MBA) will suffice for WES?
2) In case I have to get all my qualifications assessed, will I be paying for it once i.e. 230CAD or different charges add on?
3) Do I also need to get my wife's credentials assessed or only mine will work? She has a Masters in Psychology from Pakistan.
