    I have no doubt thome probably hits about 4 buckets of balls before pulling up to work. That swing look as smooth today as when I used to watch him back in the day.

    I"m not a baseball fan, i just like everything around the sport.. don't watch it unless it's the last game of the world series, but i must commend baseball for having these moments. No other sport has legends and ex ball players give detail explanations on the mechanics of the game. I wish FIFA/football would do something like this or american football or basketball.

    I'd love to see Thome do the celebrity softball. I was lucky enough to watch Travis Hafner smack a softball over right field at progressive a couple years ago

    Bill Ripken called Jim Thome "Michael" crazy
