If you can honestly listen to Angela, We’re All Water, Don’t Worry Kyoko, Hard Times Are Over, Yes, I’m Your Angel just to name a few and STILL tell me she doesn’t have a nice voice your opinion to me is moot. She is absolutely no Karen Carpenter but she has never once attempted to be, Yoko is unabashedly herself and she rocks for that. I was a member of the Carpenters Fan Club in Japan. As a fan club member in Kansai /Osaka, I went to see their live concert and was deeply moved. 47 years later, I feel nostalgic. We wish Karen's memorial, and successes Richard's Live concert in Japan in March 2023.
