Yep, I'm still coming back to watching this for inspiration as a DM. Also it is kind of crazy how many views this video got. All I wanted to do was to show this to my friends. I guess around 40K people also wanted to see this clip :D
6:09 the whole top row just collapses, meanwhile the traitor is just staring, Sam is having a heart attack, Percy is enjoying this, and Keleth is getting mad
Thank you for this condensed version! I do encourage people to watch the full thing, with damage counting and all the dice rolling. It turns into a complete different freaking experience with Matt's slight reactions.
I love that everyone is so stressed out, emotionally at the end of the session... and then Joe just chimes in with "This game is great!" enthusiastically.
The video is missing the part where they roll the damage and Laura is super happy with the "Look, I rolled 4 sixes!" And Matt is looking at them with a smile like "Oh really? You are going to regret that very soon"
Matt's answer to Travis in the end is, to me, the most chilling thing ever said by Matt: "When you revealed to a god how close and dangerous you were last game were going to be repercussions…and he knows how to get to you, he knows your weaknesses."
Also, while Grog may be the...respectively least brightest member of Vox Machina, I've gotten the sense that he has always had a good battle sense. He's always been one being cautious in battle moments.
"When you revealed to a god how close and dangerous you were last game, there were going to be repercussions. And he knows how to get to you. He knows your secrets." Hahahahaaaaa that is so fucked up Matthew
The argument against revivify is pretty gross.. like if I was Scanlon here, Percy's reaction would pretty much end that friendship after this. I mean one 3rd level spell isn't going to make or break the Vecna fight. ALSO Arkhan's reaction to want to randomly cut their heads off should have been an indicator of who they are working with.... (for those who say you couldn't predict that he might do evil stuff).
The whole episode is on the geek & sundry twitch channel and with a 3 week delay I guess on their youtube channel. I cut the most important parts from the ending of episode 113 to a condensed version.
Search for Critical Role on TH-cam and theres a playlist by Jason Brasher i think or something like that... He is up to date on episodes, the whole episode is there
The episodes are uploaded to youtube the Monday after they streamed, they show up on the G&S critical role page & are just unlisted on the youtube channel for a couple weeks :)
Sam saying “is that my baby girl??” KILLS ME
6:25 " Save her...... Right now."
Sam literally giving chills. Because now Scanlan is on the war path.
To this day, still one of the biggest outplays Matt has done imo. Just pure awesomeness.

This is the one thing all adventurers should fear. Acting without knowing. The most intelligent of enemies will use everything you love against you.
This is the most evil thing Matt ever threw at them and i love it
"This is a great game!"
Liam says with Murder in his eyes.
You play murder hobo games, you get murder hobo prizes.
FerreusVir great quote
these violent delights have violent ends
6:09 the whole top row just collapses, meanwhile the traitor is just staring, Sam is having a heart attack, Percy is enjoying this, and Keleth is getting mad
Would have been so hard core if they were un-revivable
This is why Matt is known as a legendary DM.
Watching Vax and Vex is heart breaking. Also watching Percy is too. 😣😢😢
I remember watching it all, ooh ja ja deadly sexy twins in action. That turned around reeeeeeeeeeeal quick,
didn't it,
M a t t h e w
Laura's in character reactions are killing me.
"and thats where we're gonna pick-"
"YAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!"
Thank you for this condensed version!

I knew some of C1's events, lack of consequences, goldfish, but haven't actually seen them in play. This is just..HOLY CROW MATTHEW!!!
Vex'ahlia "My Traumas Have Traumas Now" Vessar
7:44 when you step on a lego
Holy shit Liam's reaction was insane!!!
6:09 watching them all lose it but like ESPECIALLY liam and how he just starts breathing,,,,thats It for me!!
The video is missing the part where they roll the damage and Laura is super happy with the "Look, I rolled 4 sixes!" And Matt is looking at them with a smile like "Oh really? You are going to regret that very soon"
Matt REALLY know how to break his players psychologically. I should really take notes from him. XD
Matt seriously needs to keep that beard
good thing he's called Mercer, eh?
That is messed up Matt
All hail the Undying King!

Found one quick blast into pieces !!!!

Okay, the looks on everybody at 2:44. They KNOW some things not right. That entire moment was sketchy.

@@meechiejamerson Kinda like Goku
@@Comrade2261 Yeah :D
Definitely the single most fucked up thing Matt has done, I'm so proud 😂
An evil, evil man. I love him too much and I'm definitely doing this

No way did Vecna have ANYTHING on Magic Mike!

Why would that end the friendship with Percy and not Grog? Travis was the one to say "Don't, we need Revivify". Percy just kinda winced
@@amodelmannequin Didn't catch that, then sure add Grog to the list
Is this only in pieces ? Where is the whole episode ?

the way matt allowed them to revive them even tho it’s been very obviously more than a minute
