Now I recall one of my old school pals had their farm on the Cannon Hall estate, we attend the Darton Hall secondary Modern school and later we moved to Kexbourgh and a new boys school mid 1950's. I wonder if he's that lad? If he is then perhaps he might recall that one very wet and rainy summers day our party from Lower Barugh were sheltering under their chicken sheds, his dad came to our rescue and took us all back to Lower Barugh in their cattle truck, wonder full memories of that rescue..
