You've saved me! Felt like I was in a classroom thankyou so much
What if they gave a question like they gave the lcm and hcf and find the 2 numbers. How do u find it??
thank you, i got a mock today
thank you for this video but I have a question in a question saying how many pens in a pack do u need to get the same amount of pencils, should u use Lcm or HCF
LCM
@@hashirkhan3633 thx u
Great vid super teaching skills you have!!
ded
im so confused at 8:21 why do we add 5 ?
is everything in the grade 5 playlist complete or are there more videos coming up for grade 4-5
Ariaa There are still a few topics left but not too many! 😁🙏🏼
@@TheGCSEMathsTutor thanks you when will you be uploading them
Great video sir good job
Thanks 😁👍🏼
sir could you plz tell, if we can use any multiple of a number or just specifics ones, (14:34) im a bit confused abt it, plz reply 😭
if you mean dividing it by 2 or by 3 or whatever, i think it doesnt matter which order you do it in, you will eventually get the same reults i think
how would you do a question such as
'two numbers have these properties
both numbers are greater than 6
their hcf is 6
their lcm is 60
what are the two numbers'
please help i am stuck on doing these kinds of questions
that specific example isnt possible i think but what i do is just find the factor pairs of the lcm number then calculate which of those pairs fit the other categories. This is a very late reply lol sry.
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
Great video sir ! I was just wondering if you could tell me that if I do all questions from your revision guide pdf will I be able to solve past papers and get a grade 9 (ofc with good understanding and practice ) . Would be waiting for you reply , thx!
16:17 lol i knew what it was instantly...18
Levelling up 💪🏼💪🏼
thank youu
Uh how would you know when to use either method
All of them are optional so you can use any for a HCF question

Awesome!
Glad you think so!
I have a question that I can't figure out: Given that A= 2^4 x 3 x 5^3 and B= 3^4 x 5^2 x 7^2, find the HCF of A and B.
the answers say that it is 3 x 5^2= 75. but then why would it not be 3^4 x 5^3? because that would get a different answer and how do you know what ones to use?
thanks so much you are the best😀😀🙂😊
