You Need An Offer Letter From Your Chosen University Before You Apply. You Can Apply To A Maximum of 3 Universities If You Already Have Offers. But, You Must Submit Separate Applications For All Of Them.
How Can You Say Academic Merit Is Not Important...??? The Criteria For Awarding The Marks Are: 1. Academic Qualifications, Achievements && Work Experience = 40marks 2. Three (3) Essays = 15 Marks Each (45 Marks Total) 3. Two (2) References = 15 Marks I Think The Trick Or Luck Is Based On The University You Applied To. For Example, 1. The Scholarships Are 60. 2. The Chosen Universities Are 25. 3. The Maximum Number Of Scholarships Per University Is 4. So If There Are 100 People Competing For 4 Slots In Your Selected University, The Difficulty Will Not Be The Same As 10 People Competing For 4 Slots In Your Chosen University. You Know The Higher Education Authority (HEA) Will Usually Request The Universities To Prioritize GOI-IES Applicants Who Have Not Been Awarded Other University Scholarships. University College Dublin (UCD) Awarded Me The 50% Global Excellence Scholarship On 30th May 2024 && On The 2nd of May 2024, I Received An Email From The HEA That My Application For This GOI-IES Has Been Unsuccessful.

You should try and pay the acceptance fee or write to them to extend the deadline for you.
