Gps honestly you dont understand the value you brought to my life. the way you break things down and give us a structured way to go about our studies. I honestly learned more from you than my bachelor degree in IT from a reputable University. Please keep going and uploading hope your channel blows up one day you honestly deserve every subscriber. Ciao!
In 2023... we're getting hands-on!
my ask is pretty niche, do you know how someone can get hands on with MS-721? i haven't seen anything on MS Learn yet
Thank you!
Facts!
I failed my AZ-104 many months ago and I agree with you there is nothing like practice to learn something new!
Great channel GPS, I'm going down the rabbit hole of your content. Just got my AZ fundamentals credential over the weekend and am looking at what to do next. Your channel is fantastic!
GPS, I recently came across your channel as I have been browsing various MS Azure career related videos. I have many years of banking experience- banker, business banker, manager. In 2017 I went back to school and obtained a Bachelors degree in IT-Management. I am currently working as a Business System Analyst in the tech department of the same bank and my long term goal is to transition to and grow my career in the cloud domain. Your videos are extremely helpful in understanding the career path in Cloud. Keep up the great work. You have earned my subscription.
I bought an AZ-104 course from James Lee whilst I was studying AWS last year, and it's been on my todo list. I've been settling into a new service desk job and eventually want to keep upskilling. These mini projects are great.
Also, documentation is key. My technical skills might not be as advanced where I need them to be but my boss complemented me on my ongoing documentation quality within KB articles.
I'm just about to start my AZ-104 study, so this is perfect! Thanks for this :)
Just perfect timing! Thanks GPS!
Perfect timing! I just started studying for the AZ-104! I'll come back to this post when I pass it! Thank you!
Did you pass?
This is dope, great content. Would love to see more content regarding projects of varying difficulty.
Great video with a bonus Repo! Thanks so much for producing and sharing, GPS! It's definitely true that you learn better by putting knowledge into practice. Great work!
Greatly appreciate the concept of designing projects to confirm your certification knowledge. Thanks for taking the time to add VALUE. AZ-305 next for me. The AZ-305 projects will be great!
Love it, I’m planning to skip the basic level cert and go straight to 104 so this will come in handy
I would NOT recommend it!! here is why i did both AZ 104 and AZ900, first i did what you said went straight to AZ104 and passed and im hands-on guy! then MS did free course as they always do and not sure now 2024 of AZ900 and if you attend you get free exam voucher, so i got nothing to loose and did attend and got free voucher.. as i was preparing for the exam i noticed how little still i know about azure... bottom line is AZ900 is very broad exam where as AZ104 is more in-depth exam, here is what i think on scale of 10 - AZ900 is 9 wide and 5 deep, AZ104 is 5 Wide and 8 deep as you can see passing 104 doesn't guarantee you pass AZ900 and if i had not prepared for the exam very hard i would have failed it because alot covered in AZ900 is NOT covered at all in AZ104 and yes i passed it after hard preparation and this is my 2 cent on it...
yes. Thanks for sharing, please more video about Az and Aws
Great timing, I just started studying for Az 104 😁
Thanks for this content, loving it. I'm currently trying to get a better a understanding how to deploy a CI/CD pipeline. It seems a proper rabbit hole for me. If you havent done content on this I'd love if if you could showcase a deployment of this type
Perfect timing on this! I am taking my AZ-104 next week. This will defintely help with confirming knowledge and actually have something to show for it. Thank you so much!
How'd it go?
@@willkillz7758 I just now saw this. Unfortunately I had to reschedule the exam due to sickness. I rescheduled to this Monday, more time to study though!
I'm curious too how did it go? how did you learn?
Even after the reschedule and the extra time I ended up failing. I used John Savill and Andrew Brown videos as well as Microsoft learn. There is just a lot of reading a lot of obscure scenarios that take time
@@bryanwoodward4098 Oh that’s a bummer, did you do any practise exams?
I needed this video GPS, thank you 🙏🏾
Would love a video on AZ-500 please 😊
AZ-204 next!
Thanks for this share! keep the good work!
Thank you for all your efforts and creating this. Please make a video showing implementation of either of these projects live. Will be super helpful for learning purposes. Thanks.
I have 2 cloud project videos on my channel. I don’t plan on making more because they don’t get many views as it seems people aren’t really interested.
Appreciating this since the exam syllabus was updated last month haha
Thank you GPS. This is going to help beef up my portfolio. You're awesome
This is what I needed. Thanks
Hello, Gwen, Awesome video.
For the next video, can you do project ideas for the AZ 305
az305 would be wonderful
Passed my AZ-104. Building out my lab this week for Identity access management
you are the best more relevent and on the point
subscribed you deserve my subscription .
Totally agree with the POV of Practical Experience... Cramming for exams is no fun... practice is what matters
Although I have taken AZ-104, I really didn't do a complete project except the labs in the udemy's course. Thank you for giving me interesting projects to practice! I have one question, with AZ-400, which project should we practice?
Not to kiss ass but I really love what you do for the cloud community
The content you put out is very nice and it’s free again .
I can’t say how much coming across your channel as helped me in the cloud journey without joining any boot camp
I made a mistake of taking certs just to pass it with no real hands on experience. Definitely will do projects for passing AZ-104. Thanks GPS
You are a person who actually wanna help people to change their lives. Its a Gods work. You don't understand the kind of impact it has on people who want to break out of the vicious cycle of their old lives. It gives them hope. Cheers Gwyn, love your work 😀
Perfect timing. I am between jobs and would love to get into cloud. I have a free voucher from Microsoft, so I am planning to take AZ-104 next month. Can you do a video for AZ-204. Thanks
Great video. Please do AZ 204 or AWS Developer Associate!
Absolutely awesome 👏
what about AWS projects? is it possible to have a brief discussion about AWS projects for beginners? 🙏🙏
Nothing's more valuable than getting hands dirty instead of just memorizing.
Thank you for making the 5 projects free 💯
EDIT: visited channel, immediately subscribed.
This is excellent! While I was browsing through, seeking projects, I came across this gem. I do have a quick question though: after we've developed a project, where would be the ideal platform to showcase it for prospective hiring managers?
Good question, I also want to know !
Github
I honestly think GPS reads my mind 😂😂😂😂,
Jokes apart you are the best. Love you
Thank you so much for your cloud content (espacially the Azure). This Video comes at the right time. Last month I passed the AZ-900 exam and now I studying for AZ-104. I have learned so much from your content and the study guide. Greetings from Germany.
im planning to take my exam prolly in a month, please give me some detailed tips , it would be really helpful :)
@@abisheikbarathan5856 I've studied with the Microsoft learn AZ-900 Path. But for the exam preparation, I can highly recommended the MeasureUp AZ-900 test exams. They are helped me a lot, to understand the questions in the real exam. Take the 30 Days access they will be enough.
hey man could we get in touch I'd like to ask you a few questions.. thank you
Super helpful.. can I do this in aws and with terraform?
It would be great, if you cover each project every week which gain knowledge to the person who is new to azure
Hello Gwen can you cover the AZ-500 and AI-900 certification projects?
+1 on the AZ-500
Please do video for Az-400, thanks 😊
I am having az-204 in 6 weeks and I am looking for a project that I can do in this time span to practice. I am a CS graduate.
I stared with the first project on onboarding automation using http response trigger and AD connector for user creation but facing error after the trigger is fired successfully. Also tried using Microsoft Form (global admin access) as trigger in place of http but it doesn't allow to create form due to no permission.
Can you do a video on AWS SysOps Administrator?
Hello, could you please provide us with AZ-700 certification skills and projects to better understand the concepts of Azure networking
Would love if you can cover the SC-200 :D
+1 on the SC-200!!!
Would it be good to put this on my resume as project works done ?
Can you please cover AZ-500 please. I would love if AZ-500 is covered.
Hi its good kindly provide details on az 204 also
You're a real one 🤩
Very hopeful
Thanks gps
The Azure 204 would be great
Thank you for putting these together @madeybysgps
Hello GPS, do you have a course showing these hands on labs steps?
Did anyone find a work around for the first project? I am struggling to create a new user via events because it is requiring a school or work account.
Im proficient in javascript, do you recommend I learn python?
Just wondering if I should add study time to learn the python language for become a well rounded cloud engineer.
I wanna do these but how much do you think it will cost? (minus the disaster recovery and backup obviously)
Thank you.
Best Projects for Powershell prowess. Also, best programming language (if any) to learn in support of a cloud career. Python? Bash Scripting? PS Scripting? Something else? Or does ChatGPT make learning a language or scripting obsolete?
Associate Google Cloud Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer (Aws, Google and Azure) exist a project where you could use multi-cloud infrastructure?
Can you take a similar approach with AZ 900? I am studying for AZ 900 exam. But would like to see a video on area of study
I agree ☝️
Thank you
Which software you are using for editing??
Are any of the M365 certs worth it?
Thanks so much. Please can you do projects for SC-200 Microsoft Security Operations Pleaseeeeeeeee
Ok :)
This is a great list. I’ve recently completed the Cloud resume challenge and have 1 project under my belt before taking the 104. However I’m concerned about the price involved in the projects. Can you give a rough estimate ? Thanks again for the ideas.
Not sure, depends on the tiers you use.
Use free tiers first.
Implement budgets.
Do 1 project at a time.
~20 usd a month can get you pretty far.
dumb observation form my side, but you could use ctrl + tab to switch between tabs
I'm struggling with these projects. I keep getting lost. Do you have any recommendations that might help?
I just failed AZ-104 over the weekend and I thought I had studied and practiced enough, yeah no. Thank you for this video, I’m back on the grind. I have to gain this cert for work, so no quitting allowed 😅
how did you practise with everything included?
would like to make smth similar for aws sysops administrator ?
The "Onboarding Automation" project has been kicking my butt. Has anybody been able to complete this project using Azure? (NOT GCP or AWS tools)
more AZ-104
New subscriber here! 🎉
How are we supposed to establish a S2S VPN connection from our Vnet to our "onprem" network when its actually a vnet? Why not use peering? The former is requiring me to download a local VPN
Just to practice :) use a VM to mimic.
AZ 700 please
Glad you clarified if we needed too know any coding means a lot shows how long you've been teaching lol.
AZ-204 pls
SC900 please!
Thanks! This is a great idea. You really gotta get practical and make a solid lab setup. You can watch videos to the ends of the earth and I still don't learn that much 😂
I'd call json scripting. But maybe that's just my habbit from coding days where I never touched full fledged programming languages much.
Will Microsoft charge me for these projects or are they under free tier?
DP-203
thanks for keeping it post, Gwyneth
AWS SAA next
HOLA
AZ 204
AZ-900
Az400
Took it last week , didn't pass. Virtual networking and the arm template questions were my weaknesses
how did you prepare for the exam, everything included?
@@pingskillz also retook it last week and passed!!
@@pingskillz my comment didn't post. Ms learn modules and examtopics were my go to sources.
Where is the solution?
you have to build it... how else are you going to learn?
Okay got it , I thought it would be watch and do . But this is also cool 😎
As-500
az-500

Great video!!
plz AZ 700 and AZ 500!
I feel like a lot of the projects you listed are way too advanced. Like building a multi-tiered application? Really? You expect us to create a multi-tiered application? How much coding is going to be involved to accomplish that?
Yeah. Don’t have to build the next Facebook, just make a todo app or something.
Thank you for sharing this ☺️ do you have or would you do any azure projects tutorial walk through kind of thing? That would be amazing and one of the kind really... 🫶 thank you
I have 2 project videos on my channel. I don’t plan on making more of these because they don’t seem popular according to TH-cam statistics. People don’t want to learn technical stuff.
@@MadeByGPS
oh I see....ok I will definitely check them out. thank you
