Yes, it's very true that MG astors mileage is worst in the segment. Even, in Delhi traffic the avg. is 4-5 km/l. I have recently bought Astor select CVT, and regretting buying it. I do not recommmend anyone buying. The certified mileage is 14.8km/l, but actual way too less than that. Company is defrauding customers. Stop selling Astor in India. I would be more than happy if you re-purchase back, it is driven only 1200km so far.

Ohhh, It's bangalore problem i think 😂😂 I have astor top model petrol CVT Min I'm getting 7 in tight Ahmedabad traffic You should drive seltos creta petrol in the same city i think there will be max 2 kmpl difference My friend has manual seltos and he is getting the same mileage as mine
I have Hyundai Verna 2023 1.5 NA Manual and I get 5 kmpl with AC on full blast in Mumbai Afternoon Traffic and 7-9 kmpl when the Vehicle is tuned off whenever there is Signal.....The AC alone drinks up allot of Fuel than the Engine

Many people in India can be okay with less power but not less mileage..
I think mg should tune the mg Astor engine for more mileage ..

My friend has manual seltos and he is getting the same mileage as mine
I get mileage of 9-10 with my Creta 2024 CVT in worst of Bangalore traffic.

Traffic was not at its peak when I done this test. Anyways, mileage of 4 are not justified at any traffic condition for any type of car.
I think for places like bengalore, car like Mg comet is the only sensible choice.
