You exposed my secret. I love these sleeves there’s various brands but these are my favorite. I’m surprised a lot of manga collectors don’t know about these.

Thank you so much for making this video! I have some questions though, do these covers work for omnibus editions? What if I had hardcover mangas like Fragments of Horror and Uzumaki? Are there available sizes for these as well? I have some books that are a little bit bigger than a signature edition would the signature covers be okay for them as well? Thank you!
Ran Kuruta unfortunately not, for some. I know the purple standard size works for my I am A hero omnibus, but that's it. Uzumaki, Vinland saga and the other tall hardcover fancy ones I'm not so sure.
I remember ordering one, I think, its D5 I think, I just remembering it having a black label where the color should be, fitting on my Akira Omnibus. The issue with that, is only one sleeve comes in the pack, didn't feel worth the import. I would measure the books and try clearbags.com -- sorry I couldn't be more help.

could you maybe give me the exact dimensions for the ones with 210 cm height? cause usually the actual covers are 3-5mm wider.
btw you weren't putting them on backwards, just in the wrong order, cause the sticking side is supposed to be at the back of the book so it doesn't annoy you, and the wait of the book will make the plastic take the shape of the bend easily when it lies on its back

It really depends on what you feel will be best for you, to be honest.

Any idea of where I can find snug fits for the Shonen Jump My Hero Academia Japanese Imported Mangas? ... just realized today that they are different in size than the US versions (smaller).
Oh yea, if you research Mie Mie manga protectors or Mie Mie transparent covers, those are the ones that fit Japanese manga. Not sure where you get them, but I would do some research on which colors to get cause there is like 9 different sizes. Sorry I couldn't help more.

@@BraulioPianoTutorials the only thing I think of that would give you a snug fit for your manga from top to bottom, would be to shrink wrap your Manga, but I wouldn't recommend that, cause the heat from shrink wrapping might cause some damage. I don't think any company makes a size so snug for manga to be honest.

It's not that they're irreplaceable, they're becoming too difficult to get nowadays. So I would be careful with every sheet.
For the American One Piece mangas 5 x 0.7 x 7.5 inches, which size do you recommend? B6?
If it's the standard manga size, I would not recommend the B6, it would be too large.
You would need to go down a size.
Hey i really loved your video but i got a question! Where did you get the complete protection bags? The one that you slide the mangas in and they are 100% secure?? I've been searching these for so long
I got them from comic book store in my area. But also remember them selling it on Amazon. They're called manga sleeves, I hope they still sell it, and I hope this helps.

thank you so much , I got some out of print mangas that need super protection. I m so scared of evening taking my mangas out of room.; let only the house. I have watched my brothers ruin and tear their mangas and it honsetly breaks my heart. I never knew which one to pick and where to get them. So thank you

Hello!, I'm currently collecting the Beastars manga series and I loved how the covers from CDJapan looked; May I ask how much did the shipping cost from Japan to the US?, since it can be a bit too pricey
Well the inflation rate, definitely increased shipping across the globe. I imported a product from jp recently and shipping was 4,300 yen which is about $32 its pretty rough. But it ships fast.
Hey Shin so I know I'm a little late on this, but I'm hoping I could get an answer from you asap. Would you please tell me just to confirm and make sure which of the covers will fit the English Shonen Jump Manga? For example One Piece, Black Clover, Naruto, Food Wars, Bleach etc? Is it the Purple or the Pink?
Sure No problem! I've notice that shonen books will only fit on the purple packaged sleeves. If you do pink, it will be too big and green too small. 😅 Hope this was quick enough
@@shinmegamitalks Thank you Shin for confirming that with me asap haha. I've been looking around for awhile for manga cover protectors that actually fit, and your source seems promising. I've tried other different ones and none of them have fit on mine even though there has been reviews on some of the ones I've tried which others have said to work on SJ or Viz manga.
@@shinmegamitalks Hey Shin another curious question what do you think will fit on the Attack on Titan manga's? You think the pink ones you were using for the signature editions will work on those since the AoT mangas are bigger?
@@ShotoMetsu86 if I'm not mistaken I think they would. I know that the viz media segnature books fit in the A5 pink sleeved protectors. So if attack on titan is the same size, I would assume it works.

Yeah so the books you are referring to are shonens, so it would be the sleeves that fit on my platinum end book

No, it's the same plastic used to protect comic books, so you're fine
I just use the purple one for the naruto manga in japenese edition and its to big 😔 should I use the first one ?
Well Japanese prints are smaller in size. The first manga that I sleeved is printed in Original Japanese size print, so yea the one with green label should fit. I should have mentioned that in the video, but i didn't learn about that until months later after shooting this footage. Hope this helps though.

These are a double edge sword. I live in southeast asia and its super hot here in my country so i am kinda scared because of humidity. Do you think i should still buy these kind of plastics? I might buy one just to protect my manga from dust but i am still hesitating if i should buy these.
I know where your coming from, I live in a tropical hot area as well. Humidity is going to get to the books regardless, I don't think there is a way to stop that unfortunately.
But the plastic is a good buy to protect the front and back covers from getting stained, liquid or shelf damage from moving your books around. Dust is going to effect your books more the lower on the shelf they are, but not so much if you keep dusting them once a month. They are a good buy if you like to keep your Manga in good condition and fingerprint free lol.
Will my Hero Academia manga fit on the Pink/Purple Pack since the manga can have different sizes? My Shonen Jump is American/English. I'm not sure If it will fit
That will be the purple. I have my hero manga sleeved in those.

Can this help the cover page from become bent, especially for paperback?
If you bend it too far, unfortunately it will still crease. It really only protects from small liquids, bookshelf scratches and some yellowing.

I wish I knew. The best thing to do is measure your book with a tape measure, and purchase a clear bag slightly larger than your book. I haven't gotten into that series yet but heard great things.

Unfortunately not, the b6 are too small for regular sized manga. I'm currently searching for an alternative, video should be up soon.

@@lifeisarabesque the book won't fit in the plastic holdings it's supposed to slide into. If you were to cut those off, then you'd have a half an inch exposed and not protected

The pink one is more for Viz Media's Signature line. where the purple one is for there standard size books. Platinum end, Attack on Titan , ect.

That would be viz signature, so the A5. It has a orange pinkish kind of label. Hope that's helpful.

@@lorxsan4982 that is correct, due to the fact its coming straight from japan, the import cost is insane. what i usually do when I order the protectors is, I order a lot of them so it justifies the Import cost. I wouldnt recommend buying 1 or 2 packs, you would just be paying for importing them at that point.

That means you wrapped it to tight usually. It happens to me sometimes too. Unstuck it where the tape is, and stick it a bit loosely, that should help
What size is best for the dragon ball manga? I ordered the B6 but it seemed to be too small...any advice on which one I should get as I don’t wana waste any more money lol
Are the dragon ball manga the thick omnibus books right? if the B6 is too small going a size up might be a waste of money unfortunately cause it will be too big. Take measuremets of the book and I'll test it out for you.
So I did some more research and I compared the dragon ball manga to platinum end and they both have similar dimensions (according to Amazon) 12.7 x 19.1cm and similar amount of pages. So you think going for the pink sleeves would be the best choice ?
Oh P.S these aren’t the omnibus versions rather the singular versions of each issue of dragon ball.
@@aran5678 Almost right, you need the purple sleeves. if your DBZ Books are the same size as platinum end you need the purple ones.

I could only suspect that they are not shipping to america right now due to the epidemic, so they might only be shipping domestically in Japan. Thats why the rates are so low.

@@damianhernandez8484 For omnibus it's tricky. I have the protectors on some of my omnibus manga, but they're two volumes big, I think 3 vol in one large book will be too big for the protectors to get around. I have manga called Moteki and the protectors don't fit it, I think its 3 vol sized omnibus as well. Sorry Damian, hope this helps a little bit.
