I love the "clear prop" being hollared in the back ground lol. This aircraft coming to MS2020 couldn't be better timing for me... I'm halfway through my PPC and I'm currently making the transition to the PA28.
Fantastic video. Having landed on this runway the other day in this exact aircraft, it was amazing to see how well it's modelled as well as how much FS2020 accurately recreates the landmarks. Thanks for taking the time to make this one 320 sim pilot.
What a coincidence! Yes it’s great to have all these airports looking so good, plus a really nice representation of this aircraft. Thanks for watching as always Jon!
After getting my PPL, I converted to the Warrior and I've flown about 10 hours in the real G-BOZI aka "BOZZI". Last I saw her was mid-2023 and it hasn't flown since COVID pandemic ended. A bit sad really, but now I get to fly her again, in VR. Scratches, grass on the carpet, warts and all. Great video as always.
Love it, want it, buying it! Love Just Flight - I think I am now hooked on their planes for MSFS....Thank you for sharing the video. As always really interesting and a fair preview.....thanks.
I wonder how big the discount for Arrow owners will be... A lot of what is in there is pretty similar to the Arrows, so I doubt I'll get enough difference to justify a higher price for me.
@@magicalsnek Around 25% off for current Arrow owners. Lots of commonality for sure but also a number of differences. Down to the individual as you mention, if they feel it justifies the further outlay. Hope that helps.
320 Sim Pilot No Problem, sir :). Fun Fact: I only watched the intro and the few seconds of startup because I have to do some work. But don't worry sir, I am watching now :).
I flew a Warrior 2 when got my PPL back in 1978. First, I don't think you apply carb heat on approach like a Cessna, only if you have an indication of Carb Icing. Secondly, the stall in the Warrior is very docile, it would just tend to mush straight ahead in a stall rather than dropping a wing.
Thank you so much for showing this video because I used to fly the Archer. I wish you would have left the old style radio stack on but that's ok. One word of caution never open the door of a PA28 in flight you will never get it closed if you are flying solo. I had that top latch blow open on rotation once and scared the you know what out of me. I felt like I was in a wind tunnel. I climbed to a 1000 ft, leveled off and tried to close the upper latch but could not do it. I had to return to the airport. The Archer is an up grade of the Warrior but the only main difference is the Archer has a 180 HP engine.
@@320SimPilot Thank you I really enjoy your TH-cam channel especially the tutorials on the A 321. I went through all of them. It was a mission but I did it and loved them.
Great video! Thanks for doing it! I even learnt something (never knew you could switch on glass cockpit!! 😂) Just started flying with it doing my PPL and its brilliant for those all important procedures!!
Seems that just like the Arrow, the JF Warrior lacks the elevator authority to stall the plane at most ”normal” speeds. I haven’t flown the -161, so I can’t speak to its stalling characteristics, but the -140 and -180 will most certainly stall if you pull the yoke all the way back.
1500RPM with 2 stages of flap on base will give you 80kts then full flap on final will give you 70kts touching down at around 60-65kts when you flare. I've never used the 1st stage of flap flying the PA-28 irl.
This is awesome. I just started my ppl and doing so in this very aircraft. Seems to be very well modelled and should be decent enough for some practice on my home sim
Yes it is similar! This one feels a bit slower and certainly won’t be up for the long cross country flights! There is a discount for turbo arrow owners I believe, but indeed it will not be for everyone!
Great video, as always. Especially that you manage to stall the Warrior, whatever I do my Warrior does not do it, not even a stall warning. I fly Warrior in real life, know how to do (and avoid) it. Perhaps you have a better yoke than have, mine is Logitech Flight Yoke. Perhaps the sensitivities? Could you please share details? (I started a discussion on the MSFS forum, it is not just me with this ‘problem’.)
If they want to make it true to life with my rental place's Warriors, then it would have an interior with cracked leather and loose parts, and it would take at least 3 tries to get it started, lol. Also, was there anything in the checklist about turning off the electric boost pump after startup? You are supposed to do that in the real aircraft to make sure that the engine driven pump works correctly (and my place also has a policy to keep it off during taxiing). Overall, I am definitely getting this. My only issue with the Just Flight aircraft before is that they only had the complex Piper variants that I don't fly IRL. It's going to be super cool to practice flights in MSFS with the plane I fly a lot in the real world.
Yes, you have the option to have wheel fairings in the tablet (you can see this at 10:13). AFAIK, JF have modelled the Warrior so that having them improves the performance of the aircraft.
I'm about to start my PPL and I'm about to pick between the warrior and a c152 - I'm told the C152 is best for learning how to use the rudder, is this true?
I have flown the Piper Archer and the Cessna 172 and both are fine airplanes to learn on. Choosing an airplane in this class is like choosing a car to drive, it depends on what you like the best about the plane and feel comfortable in.
Update? If you bought from Just Flight you can get the very latest version by going to your account and downloading it. That will be the latest version.
Personally? It's missing a lot of the proper sounds. Metal wing noise when you land, or take off on grass runway. Engine sounds are exactly the generic 172. If you are wasting all the time to do the 3d modeling, why skip on what makes each plane truly unique! You can't just leave out proper audio of the real plane! It's sad devs are still just cut and pasting audio from one plane to the next!
When's it supposed to release?
This week or next.
I love the "clear prop" being hollared in the back ground lol.

Trying to keep it as real as it gets! Have fun in the PA28 and thanks for watching!
Can't wait for the Warrior. The default C172 is great for learning but this is the first chance to more accurately fly like a PPL would in MSFS! :)
Fantastic video. Having landed on this runway the other day in this exact aircraft, it was amazing to see how well it's modelled as well as how much FS2020 accurately recreates the landmarks. Thanks for taking the time to make this one 320 sim pilot.

Top right hand corner of the Autopilot panel there is a white dot. Press this for ALT Hold. 😊
Thanks Chris!
I just got to fly the PA28 in real life for the first time a few days ago so I'm definitely getting this!!
That’s fantastic, I hope you have many happy memories flying! Thanks for watching
I just took my first flight ever in a GA plane last week and it happened to be a warrior II! I might have to buy this plane just for that reason.
Amazing to see! I fly G-SIXT in real life - it’s such a great livery.
Fantastic! It is indeed a beautiful aircraft and livery

you still need to apply carb heat on approach on the PA28. At least that's how I have been taught to do.
Over looking red hill aerodrome now from the lovely Nuffield priory country Hse hotel Lovley video sir
Thanks Dg! Sounds a lovely view!
its was superb .took the old gt for a spin as well nice few sir
Nice to see Hampton Court Palace modelled, though I can't say I notice much GA traffic over here though thanks to all the traffic coming off Ockham.
No I was taking a slightly scenic route through some very busy airspace! Thanks for watching!

Nice, my local airfield and flying club. I think they have the BEA livery because they used to be called British Airways Flying Club
Haha memories... I did my time on one of these!

This and the warrior 3 are both super fun planes to fly. Looking forward to seeing it in a sim.
I love the (turbo) arrow, but after those 2, this does feel a bit like more of the same
Yes, after the Arrow, going back to the Warrior is like going from a Racing bike to a three-wheeler.
Yes it is similar! This one feels a bit slower and certainly won’t be up for the long cross country flights! There is a discount for turbo arrow owners I believe, but indeed it will not be for everyone!
Great video man!! Excited to do some full flight videos after I finish my Arrow 3 tutorial series 😁
Glad you liked it, enjoy the Arrow!
Great video Capt. I did my ppl in an Archer II.
I would also imagine if you went through Heathrow airspace without permission, you may find a Typhoon next to you.
Yes we took a scenic route today!
Butter.
Thank you sir!
You’re welcome HK!

I hope they can make the pa 28 archer.
I'm really looking forward to this.
I cant wait for this
Hopefully not too long now!

Many of them will!
How do you create replays?
I use a freeware tool called ‘Flight recorder’. I hope this helps!
@@320SimPilot Thanks! Loving your videos by the way!
Just Flight says on their website this aircraft is not compatible with XBOX MSFS. What are you running this on?
Is this JF version really up there with the likes of A2A. JF and carenado were always a notch below the hardcore A2A stuff?
i think i will buy this one
