I would LOVE to see you all do a series on Sindhi culture! The one where you showed the production of the Ajrak fabric was amazing and that was just one chapter!
Thank you for doing a video where everyone is enjoying a song from your own country. And thank you for including the Wikipedia images on the screen to teach the rest of us about the story behind it.
This was beautiful...it was amazing to hear their thoughts on women's rights...I loved their honesty and watching them relate to parts of the video with their own culture...thank you for this effort...thank you for exposing us to their thoughts as well...Thank you for explaining everything sooo beautifully...Love from India ❤
This reaction and comments by the gentlemen in the video is what represents the mindset of our people in the interior and Tribal areas.. Women are to be respected and free.. what a beautiful message... My congratulations to the team behind this channel.. Excellent concept, Great job..♥
I would love to see them all react to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Catching Smoke, i feel like its a creative and sort of different song and video that would really provoke some interesting and wise thoughts from our tribal friends. I feel as if they would find it fun :)
Adnan, you did try to explain that the vocals would be fast and that modern instruments would be in the mix. Such a beautiful song and video, but it sure did stir things up! Muharam seemed rather outraged that it strayed from actual traditions and failed to include every aspect of Sindhi culture. I also found it interesting that Mashouque found the rap part too fast to understand, because from where I sit, he talks a million miles an hour, at least when agitated! I say that with love. Abdul, as expected, had the most measured and thoughtful reaction, with little or no negative judgment about how the artists presented their vocals and visuals. In the end, though, they all came together in agreement on an important thing: that women deserve freedom and respect, and that is what the song was about. So much to digest here, but I shouldn't try to write a thesis in a comment section (my post is already too long). Bottom line: I really enjoyed the music, the video, and the discussions. Fantastic effort all around. Look forward to more. As always, love to everyone involved.
Wonderful wise people you are. I find yourselves and your channel very very interesting, and heartwarming with your insightful humanity. Bless you all Go well Sirs
Loved the video, as always! Looking forward to them getting to experience more rap :] It might be too much for them, but a rap track I really enjoy along these same lines of female empowerment is Janelle Monae's Django Jane. What's hard about recommending rap is that the lyrics often rely on a lot of word-play and references to pop culture/current events.... A lot of it really isn't translatable 😅😅
And I would like to add, regarding women rights, it please me to hear that every culture at the end embrace that. I mean, like every content, music, cinema, comedy, when it is good, excellent, when it feels right, it's universal. Same thing when you know something it isn't right, or cruel. And that tells you you are in the right path, and all the good people in the world are, too
Ada dado suthu . Ada review more songs from Coke studio Pakistan CS PAKISTAN season 15 Asaan ji tamaam zuban local languages khe showcase kiyo Pakistan zindabad
they're really angry about the cultural impurities. i like the mixing of styles that coke studio does, they even do multilingual stuff. i get where these are coming from though. it would be good to celebrate the uniqueness of their culture
I never thought I would be listening to Sindhi rap. Muharam didn't seem to care for it, wanting a more purely Sindh cultural representation. I don't know if he has heard any rap music before. You have another channel for sharing the culture (not used much lately). Maybe he can curate that channel for you. Chacha Abdul seemed to like this more than Muharam or Mashoque. He is becoming quite worldly 😊
The fact is you played the track infront of the people who always listening old folk sindhi cultral song they never experienced rap or this kind of music that's why they are saying that boys didn't sung well... If you invite people from different age groups then it's gonna be more sensable to saw and heard the point of view ♥ but otherwise these are our buzurg we need to respect there point of view as well ♥
Love the resction amd their points. Also i agree yaar i dont know why coke studio has focused so much on westernising the raw folk songs and style. We shoukd be making pure classical raw folk type of music to carry on our heritage, rather than watering down our culture to appeal to others
Bhai Agr Pure folk Hit hona hota to hojata .Saalon Ke folk songs pare hai. Woh poore Pakistan Mein hit Nhi hopate , International audience kia usko sunegi. World Music Mein Kaha Age Nikal Gaya hai.likn Hamari to wahin atke we hain. If u want to capture the international audience, Modernization or fusion zaroori hai.
@@sweetkiller1927 well we shouldn't be changing out culture to ba accepted by others. That's the sad thing. And okay out a few international instruments and more classical. Our history and culture is ancient. How fo you think they survived for so long. Because people have kept their culture alive and hadn't changed to please others so we should do the same for the coming generations
I like the music. I'm going to play it at work in front of my fellow White Americans and see if I can trick them into thinking it's Spanish. Another guy speaks Spanish, and I know some. But if I wasn't paying attention I might think it was Spanish lol! No offense, thanks for sharing, Ustads. It sounds modern, but his thoughts of isolation and being told what to do reminds me of COVID shutdowns. Glad to hear his voice. Thanks again!
Imagine seeing a Sindhi song on a big platform like CS and hating on it because it's not traditional enough or not enough diversity. The diversity was in the instruments, using old and new and the style of singing, folk song and rap. What more diversity do they want?? lol Imagine loving music from all other countries and appreciating it for what it is then having nothing but negativity for their own country smh.
Coke studio is International brand. It's targets Local and international audience . U have to make it Modernized and Make Fusion songs. International music Kahan chalagya hai , Or Kuch log yahin Stuck hai. These are villagers of course they will want pure folk songs. But it can only target the old audience New generation want Something new.
They couldn't catch the details of Sindhi culture. Xulfi put Local culture on international audince which some people couldnt do it. Bcs The World is evolving in music and going forward. New generation want Something new too. But older generation is stuck in their Era and small no of audince

Yes! There were so many beautiful textiles in this video!
I've can't say it often enough: this channel is head and shoulders above anything else I've seen in this vein. Really, really interesting.

How interesting to learn a little bit more about their culture! This was great!
This is most lovely Reaction on Coke Studio Song EVER! I loved it! Love From Peshawar!

Hello. i would like to say that I like this new fellow, Mashoque Ali ? He seems very sharp (of course like the others, but he is new and fresh)
The old man is wise and open minded
Loved the video, as always! Looking forward to them getting to experience more rap :]

The sound you make when you step on a lego brick
"Chang (Jew's harp)"??? I need to know more about this!
It's an instrument common between Indian Rajasthan and Pakistans Sindh.
Also called a "jaw harp" among other names. You can find it in folk music from all over the world, really
