After watching his New Years gig at the Continental in Austin, Texas I knew I was not alone. But I do think we are a select community that just "gets it".

I think that Sarah Jarosz may be my favorite artist making music today, as many others have stated here. when she picks up a guitar or a mandolin, or a banjo, and sings, it just makes my soul feel good.
I am a new fan boy. I just heard Sarah on Austin city limits eight days ago. I now have three CDs with two more waiting to arrive. I love the musicianship and creativity. I’ll leave it at that so I don’t start gushing over with adoration. I’m an old man, gotta keep it low-key
I love Sarah! First saw her on the 2010 ACL taping with Steve Martin. She was 18. He is a huge fan. David Crosby and Elton John are huge fans so you're in good company... Love them slippers! Live From Home is awesome. Something about the whole low tech thing makes the performances feel intimate...like we're all singing at home, which is the best. I think I've got a guitar like that somewhere with a cowboy on a horse stenciled on it. Ha!

A ray of sunshine on an otherwise dreary day. I wish you guys (IWH) would come down to my home state of Florida next tour. I have been hoping to see you ever since I took a detour from my surf trip to the Outer Banks, in Raleigh NC, (which was at least 3 years ago) but not one date in Florida. I saw Aoife in Orlando before IWH and she said it was her hometown now so I assumed to be seeing much more of her. But there has not been a date in Fla. that I've seen in years. Sorry, don't mean to bring you down but we love you here in Florida too!

Looks like my first guitar, 1965 ish. They sound great if you have the finger strength. I switched to nylon for a couple of years to get build back up to steel. Funky old guitars are perfect for blues and Americana music. Thanks for sharing this.

@Justice Boofer Record contract and a couple of Grammys at a young age says otherwise. It's all how you interpret "Star". In my book an accomplished , successful, respected by her peers, artist is definitely a Star
@Justice Boofer Again..I said "star" is how you interpret it. Your "Today's "star" is way too vague a phrase to do anything with as today's stars range from fabricated pop stars who couldn't sing their way out of a paper bag to a Dimash who changes the game when it comes to singing.
