I like that Ray clarified, repentance is showing our gratitude to the Lord, not just trying to get to Heaven. A great point I need to remember myself! Ray, I thank you for your training and I have been using it in my small ministry here in Lexington Ky. I started speaking to the Homeless and the less fortunate. I used to just use the Gospel tracts from a local Baptist Church, but I have found that your techniques tend to be very effective. You were kind enough to send me the small money Gospel of John books and I give it out to every contact that I come across. I also started giving my parents old clothing away after they both passed away. I now help them with cothing, toileties, toothbrushes and other items. Please pray for this ministry because I am having difficulties getting ANY assistance with supplies. Both the Salvation Army and the Good Will have refused to help because they ONLY do things where they make money. Very Sad...But God will provide if he wants me to continue this. Ray you are a Wonderful and positive example of Faith. God Bless, Rick

It is amazing to see the difference between individual encounters, such as this one, and group encounters in which the speaker has an audience. By and large, it seems like these individual enconters yield more fruit. A friend and I are going out and speaking publicly, while one of us speaks with people one-on-one. I like this, since we are then given opportunities to plant seeds and also individually address concerns and erroneous teachings. It is very nice to find people who are open to discussion, such as this young lady. I also see how we can grow to anticipate the many questions that do come up among skeptics. Thank you, Ray, for providing good examples, which also defines the mark of good leaders, according to Peter. 🙂
