Thank you so much I am currently sitting on the floor watching your video bleeding my radiators. Great Advice. 😎

This is ridiculously timely Al - drained the system to add new inhibitor at the weekend and also took the opportunity to change out a TRV valve that would stick every year (fixed every year with an encouraging tap as per your other video on that!) and a lockshield valve where a previous owner had snapped the top off. All good on refilling other than a drip on the tank overflow (fixed by flexing the ballcock arm up a millimetre, sure you taught me to try that in another video too!) but then had an old double panel radiator with two bleed valves where one bleed screw worked but the other didn't. Couldn't work out why but the top of the one that wouldn't bleed air was cold. Watched this last night after it popped up in my subscriptions, this morning once the kids were up did exactly what you said in this video and finally got a satisfactory hiss. Many thanks as always! The whole job including having the confidence to drain and swap out the valves all from you.

Whoohoo! - replaced 5 old bleed valves as per your instructions. They were damaged by me bleeding them. Didn't flood the house either. Had to turn up water pressure after doing each one to bleed air out but all working now. Won't need to have the heating on for so long - new valves were only a couple of quid each so great result. Thanks Al.

Brilliant! It worked for me. The water pressure gage in the water tank was below one. I topped it up to 1 bar and was able to successfully bleed my radiator on top floor of the 3 story house which was the only one which wouldn’t bleed. Thank you.

Thanks mate - I had exactly the problem you described and the water sensor level (probably the wrong name for it) but it was down at 1.0 where a note on it from the previous house owner said set it up to 2.0 if it ever drops below. The heating engineer checked the system two days ago and didn't spot the problem. THANKS!

Trying to sort out the radiators on an oil boiler system. Little air in one but open for over 5mins, no water. Nothing in another. Rads only two years old and system had a cleaner flushed through when many of the radiators were replaced. Boiler was replaced same time. All working at the beginning of the year. Any tips?

Check the F and E tank in the loft the valve may be stuck in the off position.

Could you please advice. Should the heat temperature from the top part of the radiator and the bottom part be same or very near similer
Ours we find the top is extremely hot 🔥 but the bottom are hot but not the same as top
The flow side is blazing hot but the return side is hot but not that hot 🔥. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say

Air lock in the heating system. Make sure the F and E tank is filling ok and the valve is not jammed.

I couldn't get the radiators upstairs to bleed, even though the header tank was full. It turned out the pipe to the header tank was solid with black deposit ,like charcoal. I guess the water doesn't circulate through that pipe . Unfortunately I didn't find the problem until it had damaged the heat exchanger in the boiler, because it couldn't vent. :-(
