While the segment sorely lacks substantive culinary instruction or recipe specifics, Alison Roman is wonderfully entertaining while she imparts the essentials with her unassuming joie de vivre. Perhaps the whole segment on LNwSM had the missing info. Either way, 👍
Francisco Santiago - I’m from Bermuda and love her. We have exotic foods too that are cooked by people around the world but I love the meals she prepares...regardless of where they come from. I’m an island girl myself, and only commented on a video that I love not looking for a debate about colonization. It’s not that serious for me..so there’s no need to provide me with links. It’s just not that big of a deal...it’s food love and imitation is the best form of flattery
I have issues doing low and slow cooking it always seems like when I cook the roast it tastes very dry. Any recommended remedies?? Should I start using injectors and injecting the meat with juices or other liquids??
Maybe you need even more time, for pulled pork at 275 fahrenheit at least 7 hours, more is better. Some of the moisture will be lost, but you need to have patience. If you wait long enough the connective tissue (collagen) will turn into gelatin, this will solve your dryness problems. If you can leave the bone in, this can help a lot.
Always found a good beef roast doesn't need low and slow especially with a 1.5kg rib roast i put a but of olive oil and season with sea salt and black pepper then cook it at 200 degrees Celsius for a half hour to seal it then lower temp to 150c for an hour to cook through then let rest covered in foil for 30-40mins and itll be medium and juicy . If you're a nervous cook, a temperature probe is your friend with big cuts of meat , you will know if you're under over over cooking it
DUDE!Whoever is in charge for the titles did something wrong! It sounded like he likes D&D but he's just making fun of it.I bet Joe didn't like that Interview!
I was thinking that it seemed as though the audience wasn't laughing at her jokes, and the silence was what seemed weird to me. **edit** after another watch, it does feel like she was nervous and a bit underprepared/unrehearsed, but when he told her that he was going to take a bite, (cueing her to talk and giving her a second to collect herself) he bites and then she bites ... and no one can talk which becomes awkward on this type of show, I think.
Saw your latest trailer this week. IDK if i have seen much that was less funny or has failed more totally at being edgy. Well done on lowering the bar for everyone else.
It'd be great if they didn't take up half a segment yammering about one point, answer the question and stop basking in it, Seth gotta snap some mfs outta it lmao
I’ve just “discovered” her and I’m now obsessed. Kicking myself for taking this long.
same. i just moved out of brooklyn and delusionally feel like had i stayed our paths would have crossed and i would have become her best friend.
Her recipes are good, but I don't see what people think is so great about her.
SAME.
"...or haved over", my new favorite expression
I really want to see Seth drinking more.
Especially with his family... Double plus for his mom.

Serh’s favourite segment...
...primarily because he’s allowed to drink wine on set.
Omg how did I miss these!! 2 of my fav ppl 😍
Seth's cooking strategy:
1. Get drunk.
2. Have a baked potato with an orange on it.
3. Profit.
I am hooked on Alison’ sparkling personality and delicious recipes! Alison rocks!,

@@zezoka are you f"ing SERIOUS?
the secret, Seth, is to drink until you forget about the food
I love Allison she has an amazing ziti recipe!
0:52 BTW the term mixologist has been in use since the 1850s according to the Oxford English Dictionary.
How long "bartender(keep)" been out? Lmao she just didn't know words
Shut up. You need a.stiff drink. You are so stuck up
@@fatlacesthedon Bar-keeper - 1740s / Bartender - 1830s
These are the earliest recorded written sources. The words may have been in use before then.
Doesn't make it any less pretentious.
salivating whilst eating my macaroni and Swanson Beef Broth
I blame these 'cooking' segments for my wife declaring she can't cook dinner because there isn't a drop of booze in the house.
Oh my goodness! Someone gets me!!
She’s so pretty 😌
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!
sorry, ... HAVED OVER?!!
He rubbed that raw ass beef and then just wiped up with a towel?!?!
I can't believe I'm not seeing more comments about this, wtf

@Aaron Friedman I do mine according to each recipe I read exactly and they still turn out dry

You can try roasting with veggies in stock and wine covered in tin foil
At 0:50 is bartender no longer a word???
I hated all her preconceived notions
I liked her.

Wrong video?
I'm sure she's a cool person in the real everyday world, but she does come off as cold in this segment for some reason.
Because she has preconceived notions and is downright dismissive "I don't like the word 'entertain' it makes it sound so planned"

I think her success has gone to her head.

Her delivery of the segment is not tempting, I felt lost and bored.
a mess.
bashing on successful women of color? go ahead and see yourself out the dooooor
over dramatic much?
I don’t get why people are calling her racist
Terrrible segment
so you make a simple rub and put it in the oven. gotcha
Hey Seth it would be great if you let a guest finish a sentence without you interrupting once in a while.
It'd be great if they didn't take up half a segment yammering about one point, answer the question and stop basking in it, Seth gotta snap some mfs outta it lmao
She needs to learn to just go with it, she's no match for him.
Earl Sweatshirt is Tyler the Creator? OHHHHHH So glad he changed is name....geesh
Is this the 1960's when booze & red meat was considered healthy??? WTF!
MLP88 don’t be so predictable. You are not the show. Show does what they want!!!
She’s so unpleasant. Correcting Seth’s every word. Why would we want to follow her vague instructions?
You realize this isn't the actual recipe nor is this a cooking show. Right? I guess haters gonna hate
Is this nepotism?
🍯 blood honey why would this be nepotism?
@@jms1263 because she has no discernable skill or talent.
🍯 blood honey agreed but who is she related to?
Wow this was drab. I’d hate to be her dinner guest. Where’s Martha Stewart? More Martha Stewart!!!!!!!
You prefer a jailbird over someone who is a law-abiding citizen?
Bla bla bla bla bla she sounds like the average ex-wife.
How weird to cook and eat dead body parts.
Shut up you stupid vegan
Ok boring lady does 'edgey comedy' and drinks on tv...... wow. fun stuff.
