@@freefieldtraining Hi! I dont know how well known the company is in USA, im refering to the swedish company Snigel Design. They make equipment for police and military use. Premium quality, simple design but last many years. Keep up the good work sir👍 Greetings from Sweden.
I have used K&W brand SWAT suspenders before. They are pretty solid. I had the same issue with my Uncle Mikes, and they ended up in the trashola. I currently run the HWC Nylon Police, Fire Adjustable Duty Belt suspenders on my armed duty belt. They take awhile to get adjusted, but once they are set up, they are really comfy. Awesome video if I ever need to replace my current suspenders, I will look into the 911gear ones.
I had my local tactical thread shop make me a pair with some basic webbing, a sewn H harness arrangement and "HK" hooks attached to D rings on the keepers, seems to work nice and was under $20. Those canadian ones look pretty damn nice though, looking forward seeing how they do longevity wise.
+Tue1998 oh, yeah, that is old insurance video in case my stuff got stolen. Sorry, it's not really fit to publish. Plus most of that I don't have anymore.
Can you wear spenders with a outer vest? Most of my gear is on my outer vest, but I still get sagg on my belt throughout the day and I would like to use the suspenders to keep that from happening. It wouldn't mess up your back or anything for all the weight not being on the belt?
Hey man. Does your department have any set equipment that is included in the trunk of/with the cruiser? I know some depts will have large AEDs and other neat trinkets hidden away in the trunks. I also second the notion that you do a patrol carbine video.
+AnInnocentLittleBoy I got a big fore extinguisher and a snow brush. It's uber exciting stuff. Oh, and there is a brick. But, that's mine for breaking windows out of cars. I'll have to get on the carbine thing. Lol
Your videos are great. I work for a community college police department as a non sworn member, and we use your videos for training. Can you make a video about you patrol rifle.
+Garen Shamirian thank you! Yeah, I could talk about the rifle. That is a huge topic though so as I get into it it'll probably be a long series of smaller vids. Im this king of starting with "cruiser ready" and working from there.
+Alfonso Encinas yeah, I've used suspenders alot and I have a backup brace that I am using now and am going to review shortly. I haven't tried the 5.11 ones or even seen them in person. At $100 they are a bit pricey for my tastes.
+mustangkrillin I wouldn't suggest it other than for color guard/ceremonial duties unless you work for a highway patrol that requires it. Guys have been choked out with that strap before.
Not allowing external vests is stupid af and having that weight on someone's waist for years is going to eventually going to hurt them in some way. There's absolutely 0 reason not to allow external vests
Uncle mikes products suck. Had a pair they were junk got a better pair. There is a pair that is designed to be worn under uniform shirt and shirt can then be tucked in
Back Defense Systems, I just got them, so far so good. But a lot adjusting. I’m optimistic though, and also, awesome customer service. Expensive in the front, but if the rigs works... long term, it’ll be worth it.
Placed the mug down with purpose and authority. Perfection.
+SensualLemon I knew you'd appreciate it!
Just for me?
+SensualLemon all for you!

+Sgt. Mushroom I just got a new pair from 911gear that have a more comfortable back plate. I'll be doing a vid on them in the near future.
No donut holder?
I used a set of suspenders and security belt in ny 13 years working security ive ran similarly to a.l.i.c.e. gear even in 2024

+KaptainKoolz me too, mainly because they are holding my pants up!
For when you have a code brown?
Is the video you blend in at 07:35 still up? If so what is it called? btw great work in your vids
+Tue1998 glad you liked it. I don't see anything blended in at 7:35 and there area few in this vid. Perhaps you got the minute number wrong?
I meant the footage in the upper left hand corner, showing your plate carrier ;) seemed very interesting
+Tue1998 oh, yeah, that is old insurance video in case my stuff got stolen. Sorry, it's not really fit to publish. Plus most of that I don't have anymore.

Have you tried the suspenders from L.A. police gear. I've been using them for over two years now. They are very good.

Very nice!! Youre awesome! Love the videos
+derose2026 🍩☕👍
Can you make a review on the 511 zero G plates
+Alfonso Encinas if someone wants to send them to me, sure. I'd be happy to.
I find it a little funny that 911gear.ca has this video on their site.
+Owen Cooley I find it a little flattering
as always thanks for the great information I learn so much here
+VLOG VIDEOS AND OTHER THINGS you are very welcome. Thanks for watching!

A great video idea that would be helpful for a lot of new recruits would be tips on geography and street name orientation.
+5555 5555 yeah, that's a hard nut to crack in this format. I'm still trying to make a report writing video that comes out right.
+free field training I agree and I know it's not to entertaining; although, I've found that it's something that gets brought up a lot.
+free field training I'd like to see what you have to say about report writing. It's a critical skill in our line of work.
+5555 5555 critical, boring, and open to alot of interpretation. The audio syncing is a pain as well. Report writing takes months to teach normally.
+free field training I feel your pain.
Thank you for the info!
+SR71xBLACKBIRDx you are very welcome
Copy, I'm thinking of getting some, I have heard good things about them..pretty pricy though :/

San Diego Police are hiring now; they also received a decent pay raise. One of the best departments in the country.a lot warmer than than Illinois.
Has anybody used a cross leather strap?
+mustangkrillin I wouldn't suggest it other than for color guard/ceremonial duties unless you work for a highway patrol that requires it. Guys have been choked out with that strap before.
free field training Yeah, definitely don't want that then. Thanks for the insight. I really appreciate these videos. Keep it up brother.

dopeeee. 👍 you the man.
+NDSecondsCount Dope? You got some?! YOU DA MAN!

+Len G. Uncle mikes has been hit or miss with me depending on product.
