I agree with you there expensive hobby. Once they start going up in price (like they are now, im stopping for good.lol) 60, 70$ is getting ridiculous. Some of the preorders ive seen are already 51$. :/ i miss when they were 30 -40$...sigh
You can find cheap real authentic Nendoroids at amiami.com they are like 40-50 which is not really a bad price you can even find a nendoroid that's like 30-35 which is the cheapest one you could find in amiami
Although they’re expensive... I love these things too much to not buy, if I have to spend like 40-70 dollars on just one of them, it’s worth it in my opinion, I don’t plan on stopping collecting these any time soon.
@@itsaxel8088 My Gosh 😭 It hurts knowing that much money goes away, but when you receive your figures, you'll be so happy! What figures did you order? Also can you send help this way too? :') I spent around $700/800 since januari 2021.
my oldest and probably the most expensive nendo i have is louise from zero no tsukaima #61 or spice and wolf holo #728 also personally i preferred the base plates that were customed, the rounded one with only the one hole compared to the squared one cause the holes are quite ugly to see i doubt you will read this or reply since your channel doesnt upload anymore but those are my thoughts
This is some cool tips, Gonna get my first 2 Nendoroids Natsume Takashi & a character from Touken Ranbu. I have such expensive hobbies like collecting manga and buying art/stuff from Cons. I can feel myself starting to collect this...
its addicting and theyre cute i cant stop buying. also, since i collect them now, i prevent watching the popular anime nowadays because they will have one of these thats for sure
Hi and sweet video , I have a question I have a couple of good nendoroids sealed in boxes still , whats the best way to store them like in my billy book shelf or in a collapsible container away from sun light in my room .
Actually, you can try standing them on their own, if the right tilt of their joints is found. Happened to me a few times. But I don't recommend that doing it in displays. They can easily be knocked over.
Thanks for this guide! Thankfully I'm only wanting to collect the JoJo ones and hopefully have a set (unlike my super action statues that I had to give up trying to get cause I'm not paying $120 for one figure)
My gosh, I know this pain! (sorry about the late reply btw). I had to give up on the S.A.S. line too. The nendo jojo's look so great! I hope they commit and go all in with the characters, not just the usual popular kids XD
I only buy figures of characters I like. I have 6 nendos and 1 cu-poche with two new figures on the way. There are plenty of characters that I like that I chose to pass on because I didn't have enough money to buy them. Eventually I probably will get those certain characters but right now I am only focusing on my absolute favourite characters.
I got into Nendoroid around 2018 because of my sister and collected so many of them. I actually stop buying games... and replaced with Nendoroid. I can't wait for the next wonder festival. Is there any Nendoroid or figure that you are excited about? :)
I only buy the figures that Iike and can afford. Its probably a good thing that most of the ones I like are sold out and now stupidly expensive, so I only have 3.
OMG Nendoroid Petites, I'm so sorry I didn't cover them (I actually completely forgot about them!). I honestly don't have as much experience with them as part of my collection but I was around in the collecting hobby when they first started coming out and owned a few myself so here are my general observations! So each set of standard release Nendo Petites go for about the price of x1 scaled figure. They're a blind-box sort of system but usually one full box will include the whole set (but there is a disclaimer on the box that says it's not a guarantee in case of any production errors). They're great if you're into coin-figures / trading figures, or just want lots of cute little figures. Fantastic quality for how little they are and really has that adorable 'nendo' feel. A lot of them are not posable (maybe you can move the arms up and down) and have 0-1 accessories. Rarity can become an issue with some older sets, but like most cases, it depends on what they are and what people want in the future. The worst, most painful part about them are that they have a LOT of exclusive versions. Because they're small, GoodSmile Company likes to include them in special con-exclusives or store-exclusives as promotions so trying to collect every Nendo Petite in existence can be difficult and expensive. Fortunately, Nendo Petites don't come out as often as regular Nendoroids so they're easier to keep on top of. Displaying them is so fun and easy because they are so small. You can probably find a really cheap display case of them too. Downside is that they don't have individual display boxes most of the time. Smaller, exclusive sets may do but the packaging varies. Angel Beats 3-packs had windowed packaging but the Vocaloid Petites come in blind-boxes for example. If you're looking to start collecting them, I recommend being clear with what kind of collector you want to be. If you're looking for 1-3 characters of a Petite set, maybe get them second-hand and preopend so that you know you're getting the right characters. If you want the whole team, then the whole box is the way to go.
Pink Goggles Wow, thanks for the advice, In getting some for the holidays and I just find them more fun because of their miniature size and surprising amount of posability, but what you said was even more detailed. Thanks really appreciate it. 😊😊
I was reluctant to buy nendos since I prefer scales and if I'm going to buy a figure I would rather get a big pretty one That was until I released I'm only interested in male figures and I'm very picky about figures quality so that reduces the catalog for me a lot I have 2 nendos preordered, it's very unlikely for my boys to get scales so nendos will do the work 😔
I'm buying depend on accessories, poses, outfit and expressions. So far I only got 7 nendos. To me less is more. I usually buy nendos with skirt because it covers the joints at the crotch area. No male nendos for me. And I'm avoiding any nendos or other figures with religious symbols.
Nice! Expressions are a key point for me too and i totally understand the joint issue, definitely not the prettiest thing to look at. Pretty awesome that youre able to stick to a select few!
Hi!! I have a question so I’ve been trying to buy a miku one o theses and it says that there not available do I wait for them to restock or how do I get them and how does that work?? Thanks!!
i am trying to find a nendoriod that’s pretty hard to find in the us, nendoriod 952 zero two, she currently sells for $399 (cheapest). any tips on how to find her for cheaper? i have connections in japan so i wanted to know if i could find her there.
From my experience, only if there is a revival of interest in the characters. Maybe a new anime season or game comes out, then they might re-release it.
Great video! I just discovered nendoroids and want to collect a few figures of my newly found fav anime, Demon Slayer. I live in Canada, and I have searched many many sites where I can buy them at a reasonable price. Most sites are from japan and the shipment is crazy and then you have to consider customs. I recently just found a legit Canadian anime store base in Canada. The Shipment is kind of oof but I think I am willing to pay it bc it won't include the custom pay trouble... The site I am looking at the prices will sustain and will not increase or fluctuate. Though, $90 (after tax)for the one I want times 2 is a bit pricey... Am I insane, if I get it? xD
Another problem is that sometimes at one pont a nendroids neck joint/ponytail joints will snap. I started collecting JoJo nendroids and such as Jotaro sells for 200. I bought Giorno and his neck joint snapped. I plan on buy the whole passione (if they all come out) and maybe the stardust crusaders! Thanks for the tips! 😊

What about nendoriods vs figma?
yeah, i bought the illya nendo now I ore ordered Chloe and miyu
I can understand the confusion because Epona is well-known as Link's horse, but that horse is not her. Epona is a silver bay horse with a white mane.
